It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too š

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.
It is recommended that the user data location is not placed within the Steam installation folder as this may cause issues.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Do i need to install the 8.00.rar file only ? Or do i need to install every 8.0* with it ? I'm so confused, it was easier in the past š¢
How the complete megapack (18Gb) will work with fm14 ? How this pack work ?
It doesn't matter for me, to download the big one, if this one can give me the pictures i want. But how this one will attribute the 2014 pics on my game ??

The 8.0 is the FM15 base megapack and will include every cut released for FM14. It should be enough for your needs.

There isn't a way to do that, much as we have tried, other than downloading the ones you want manually using the megapack search tool š¢

If there was something we could do, we'd have done it a fair while ago, trust me.
Once you download all the images you want, you then follow the steps in this thread to create a config file specifically for the files you want.
After a while of looking for and downloading individual cuts, you'll realise it's much easier just to get the whole megapack and have it over and done with š

Hope it's sorted by now, but when extracting large rar files, try and have as few other processes running, as they will slow extraction sped.

Have you tried to pack files into rar or zip, without compression?
Currently it gives you 500 mb save on 19 GB.
Maybe without compression the extraction will be faster.

The first set will have an equivalent in PNG, which the game doesn't read, so a png version will have been added subsequently.
As for the second set, I'll check but I believe all have been spotted and removed from the config file. Due to the way the megapack is structured, you cannot remove these surplus images from previous megapack update packs, let alone from the hard drives of people who have already downloaded. Removing them from the config will mean they aren't taken into consideration, and that's a sufficiently good solution, in my eyes. Besides, 8 'wrong' images out of 287k+ images isn't too bad a proportion š

How many images do you have in your faces folder? You should have around 287,000+ images and a file titled config.xml

Looks fine, but can I see the path the graphics folder is in? It's cropped out in the first screenshot and it should be Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2021
By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:
Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 2021’

As suspected (and hence why I asked š ), you have 2 faces folders in your graphics path. One is in the right place, plus you have another one in the kits sub-folder, as shown in the last screenshot.
Delete that, and I'll wager the other one works just fine š

Reboot your computer, so you are sure the computer is not running an over load of programs. The more applications the system is running, the less resources it can dedicate to the extraction process.
Then just unzip the file... sometimes with such a big file the computer gets the calculation of extraction time wrong and it speeds up after a while.
P.S. Posting it once was enough, no need to do so 3 times in 2 different threads š

When the most recent official update was released on Thursday night, some of the licensing fixes were removed. That's why you should redownload and reapply the licensing fix files every time an official update is released š
