This download is to be used ONLY when playing FM Touch.
This file will need to be re-applied if/when official patches/updates are released to ensure full compatibility. This is due to the fact that some files which are removed when installing this file are automatically re-installed by Steam when official patches come out.
The sortitoutsi real names fix changes the instances of fake names in Football Manager 2021 Touch to the proper, real life names for awards, cities, stadiums and competitions, in cases where the actual name is not licensed, such as Champions League, Europa League and Premier League displaying instead of EURO Cup, EURO Vase and Premier Division respectively. It will also fix the fact that the German and Japanese National teams don't call up real players and that Bayern Munich and Borussia Mönchengladbach managers have fake names. These are all fully save-game compatible.
This file also changes club names without needing to do any workarounds BUT you will not have nicknames for clubs whose names have been changed.
Due to the way the files are structured (i.e. by SI), the following changes CANNOT be effected (or at least I have no knowledge of how to do it): changing Juventus' stadium name, adding real-life media and journalists, Brazilian clubs' text colours and correcting the 3-Letter competition names.
Follow the below instructions to install this version of this file

STEP 2:
COPY the dbc, edt and lnc folders from the downloaded pack
STEP 3:
PASTE them into each of your respective folders mentioned in step 1.
These are what the respective folder structures should look like in the 2111 folder:
dbc:
dbc/permanent:
edt/permanent:
lnc:
To make sure the files have been applied correctly, go to the Champions Cup and EURO Vase in your saved game, and they should be renamed to Champions League and Europa League respectively. If you are in the middle of a save-game, German and Japanese national teams will be populated in the next instance that players are called up, and not immediately. Do keep in mind that this file does not add Japan-based players, who are not in the official database and cannot be added in this version.

You can find these folders by clicking, in the Finder, the Go menu in the menu bar, then choose Go to Folder and type the folder path name (obviously inserting your username), then click Go.
You can get to the Library folder by simply selecting Go from the top bar and holding "alt" key - The Library folder suddenly appears on the drop down

For those struggling to find the Steam and Steam Apps folder etc using Mac with the new OS High Sierra, this link below shows how you can unhide your Library folder which will then let you find the other folders.

There's no mention of clearing cache for this fix or for graphics. You just have to untick the use skin cache box in the preferences.
Can I see where you've installed the lnc files please?
I don't have a tablet so can't really help, but I would imagine you needn't do so.

Forgive me but would I do this after installing new update and then I would restart? Also will this work in current saves or will I need to start a new save for this to take effect?

There's no need to complicate matters 🙂
When you install new graphics, you would need to do this tickbox is unticked for this change of graphics to take effect. This is not necessary for the real name fix.
Some of the fixes in the real name fix can only be effected if this file is in place before you start a new game, and these are all specifically outlined in the main post. For the rest, they are save-game compatible.

Unfortunately there is no option in preferences to untick the use skin cache so had to do the 6 hour wait but took the time to update df11 faces while I was at it 👍

Mons, from what I can see the Switch version is locked down to the maximum, its a shame really.
You can have custom logos, faces and stuff on pc and mobile versions but not the switch, wwhich is a shame.
Unless i've missed something or anyone can point me in the right direction i cant see it being done for now..

I was aware of this and the default data actually has this correct. I hadn't realized, however, there was a couple of lines of code in the club lnc file changing this, a throwback from a previous version of the file.
All you have to do to sort this is to open the lnc file with notepad and remove the 3 lines of code with 67023731 in them 👍
