We've been terrible, could easily be 3 - 0 down. Jay Rodriguez missed what was basically an open goal. Allen + Gerrard are nowhere to be seen, completely over ran. Southampton have runners off the ball all the time, fitness is brilliant!

Huge, huge win and fully deserved. The first half was pretty close but we took control in the second period and were good for the win. Absolutely chuffed to bits with that.

Also, Carl Jenkinson is the fucking boss. Future England right-back.

Go watch it again, he makes contact with the ball before Milner kicks it, wasn't late and he got plenty of the ball.

He didn't get plenty of the ball at all, he barely touched it (which is what he said). If he had made any real contact on the ball then it would've followed the direction in which Fellaini was going, rather than still being booted upfield by Milner.

Just because you touch the ball doesn't make it a good challenge.
