Scottish Premier to Welfare Leagues

hi does this work on fm20 ? cant get the FMF file to show up in the game or editor 

Fantastic work mate, as a Scot i have always wanted Scottish football to have a pyramid system like other countries and the chance to play it on FM is braw!!

 

Just one question do you have a version with just the pyramid without the juniors and amateur clubs?

Hi ive been holidaying through some season and ive noticed that the North Caledonian league starts with 13 teams the first season but falls down to 9 in the second.

its the same 4 clubs it removes but it you look at one of the removed clubs info it still has them as part of the league but they have no fixtures. i have added some screen shots. cheers

No problem mate. I believe that the north Caledonian league will be a feeder league for the highland football league from next season with the winners and the bottom

highland league playing off any way you could add this in?. would love to take orkney to the top!!

You are correct, there is discussion currently that the North juniors and the NCL will become a feeder league for the HFL. Most likely the relegation will be similar to the SPFL relegation, with a playoff between the winner of the North Juniors (North of Scotland league) and NCL. Or perhaps there might be a North of Scotland league will be a combined NCL and North Juniors.

Can i ask a question about editing. if you use the editor to look within the game you see competitions in the database that don't appear in the game I.e. the Glasgow cup or the south of Scotland league. is there a simple way to add them?

The database I'm trying to finish off, the North Juniors will move to a North of Scotland League in season 2 or 3 and have a playoff with the NCL for promotion. Because no one seems to know what is happening with the Tayside Juniors I'm also adding them to the NoS. The Lothian Juniors will move to become bottom tier of the EoS leagues. So the setup should work as…….

The Tayside league is the stumbling block as they are above the boundry line they are in the Highland League catchment area but would prefer to play in the Lowland League. I can't see there being any Junior Leagues left in Scotland within 2 years. 

 

Once that Database is done, I'll release another with Playoffs removed and proper promotion and relegation from Prem to the very bottom leagues. 

I believe you are right to have the Tayside juniors into the NOS league, i think due to their promxity, they are closer to the North than to the east. 

This is where the issue arises. A fair few of the teams play in Dundee itself. Just across the river Tay, teams are eligible for the EoS. Also, Luncarty were admitted to the EoS last year. The boundary line splits the village, with the Clubs ground being on the North side of the line, but the bulk of the village on the South. I personally believe is should be a hard boundary and teams on the north go north, south go south. In respect of Luncarty, it's an exceptional case.

It is easy enough to do, but requires going into the advanced editor. There are loads of tutorials out there, but I find the best way to learn is to look at someone else's work. If I get time I'll write up a wee how to for you for both those competitions if you'd like?

Cheers mate I've watch a few vids i think i could create a basic pre season comp, i know you have the sos league and the Glasgow cup in your database (which is a great addition by the way) id be interested to see how you make a comp like that switching from a group stage to a cup final and the old firm teams using their reserves.

Can't use this with latest FM21 patch as file needs verified. Tried this in the editor but got the following message. No idea how to fix this. Can you help?
