It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Hello, I recently downloaded the cutout mega pack followed all the usual instructions (never had a problem adding graphics etc in the past) and when I use the unarchiver to extract the download to “graphics” about a quarter of the way through I get a message saying "could not extract sortitoutsi/faces then obviously a big number archive:failed to write to file
the options are to stop or continue and a apply to all box that I can tick. I have clicked continue and it keeps appearing and then I clicked apply to all and then continues to extract them but at the end of the process there is nothing in the “graphics” folder.

I suggest extracting the file to a temporary folder of choosing, then moving it to your graphics folder afterwards.
Make sure you have enough space on your hard-drive beforehand, too 👍

it was 20.67GB. Okay so its done majority of the player faces now and I've loaded the game up but there are a lot missing. Griezemann, Bergwijn are some of the ones I've clicked on. No idea why

You say it's done the majority of player faces now. What do you mean? If you haven't extracted the full file, it stands to reason that some might not have been extracted yet and so they won't appear in-game; sorry if I've misunderstood you.
As for Dutch and French national team players, download and apply this file to get round the licensing restriction which prevents player faces from being displayed when viewed from the respective national teams.

I checked and there are more than just the dutch and French players faces missing.

You're confusing me too. I don't understand how the file you've downloaded is 20.5GB in size, when the full megapack download is 19.25GB
How many files are there in your faces folder? There should be a shade over 301,000.

Okay so I just checked and there is 230,000 and 15GB in the faces folder. That is obviously why some are missing but now I do not understand why.

I can only suggest redownloading the megapack again. Use Google Chrome to resume the download if it gets interrupted and since you're a premium member, you can get it in one click from our site.
It's easier like that, at this stage.

You probaby haven't got the full file when downloading it. Use chrome so you can resume any interruptions in the download. So delete everything you got and download the full file again from HERE

I deleted the whole file and re-downloaded on google chrome and it was 19.5GB on the chrome downloads menu area, did all this fine only took about 25 minutes and then when I used unarchiver to extract the files to graphics section it got all the way to the end and gave me the same message about couldn't write the file “apply to all” “continue” etc..
check the graphics folder and it isn't in there. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. when I check system storage on the Mac the file is coming down at 20.5 for some reason.

Can we have a screenshot of where you're extracting the folder? And screenshots are infinitely better when describing an issue as I'm not sure I've understood what the last bit of your first paragraph is referring to.

I just attempted to extract them to a separate file on my Mac, same problem appeared. Please find attached screenshots of the error message I'm getting, the graphics folder inside fm21 and the RAR file I downloaded and stored on my Mac.

Yes there is enough space on the Mac I presume. 40gb spare before the download started.
When I press continue the same message keeps popping up until I tick “apply to all” and then hit continue.
I checked the folder after the most recent extract and there was no images.png in there. SO CONFUSED

Try using Winrar for Mac instead of the Unarchiver and see if that works.

I am playing FM20 but want to use the FM21 faces, I know it works that way from previous experiences.
This post is to point out that I cannot find a torrent link to the FM21 cut-out-faces megapack to download. I hope someone can direct me there or send me a link to the torrent base file.

Whether it's necessary or not depends entirely on how much faces you want to have in your save. The 13.0 base pack also available via torrent contains just under 280,000 images. If you download all the update packs released since then, you'll have 300k+ and a multitude of improved images.
If you want to add individual images to that, you can download them from the submissions forum and add them using the methods outlined in this thread.

I can not download it. As long as I press to download it I go to choose which one I want. I press again that I want the full pack and then the same again. after all it has no torrent option
