Installation Instructions
Step 1) Where to put Football Manager Graphics
Once you've downloaded a Football Manager Graphic Pack and extracted it you should be left with a single folder on your computer. You're going to need to move that folder into a special location where Football Manager can find it.
Apple: Where to put the FM Graphic Packs on Mac
You will need to copy the folder to this location:
/Users/<yourname>/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2022/graphics
You may find it difficult to find this exact location, to make it easier, use the following instructions:
a) Open Finder
b) Click “Go” from the menubar and select “Go to Folder” (alternatively press Shift+CMD+G)
c) Copy in the following: ~/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/
d) Open the “Football Manager 2022” folder
e) Open the “graphics” folder (or created it if it doesn't exist)
f) Move the downloaded files into the ”graphics" folder
Windows: Where to put the FM Graphic Packs on Windows
Simply move the folder to the following location:
Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2022/graphics
What if I don't have a graphics folder?
If you don't have a “graphics” folder simply create it 🙂
What if the downloaded files ends with .zip, .rar, .7z
If you have a file that ends in .zip, .rar or .7z then you'll need to extract the files before installing them. These files are called “archives” and are a way to compress a folder into a single file for downloading but you'll need to open them and get the folder that's in them before installing. DO NOT put these files in your graphics folder, it won't work.
Extract the files first and then put the extracted files into your graphics folder. If you're not sure how to extract them, look at these guides for windows or for mac.
What if the downloaded files are in parts e.g. “part01.rar”, “part02.rar” etc
If you have downloaded a pack in multiple parts ending in “part01.rar”, “part02.rar” etc then you do not have to extract them all individually. Just extract “part01.rar” and the rest should all be extracted automatically.
Step 2) How to refresh graphics in Football Manager
Unfortunately even though you have the folder in the right place Football Manager won't automatically pick up the new files. You're going to have to go in and tell Football Manager to reload your graphics.
Simply follow these instructions:
a) Open Football Manager
b) Click Preferences on the start screen (or if you're already in a game FM Logo > Preferences)
c) Click the “Advanced” tab
d) On the right hand side select “interface”
e) Scroll down the Skin Heading
f) Uncheck “Use caching to decrease page loading times”
g) Tick “Reload skin when confirming changes to preferences”
h) Click “Reload Skin”
And now your graphics should be appearing.
You should go back into the preferences and follow the same steps but this time tick “Use caching to decrease page loading times”, this will help with the long term performance of the game, but needed to be unticked to install these graphics.

I have the same problem, can't solve it!

As already mentioned - Once you have installed the new logos, you will need to reload the skin in game: Go to "Preferences", then "Interface", uncheck "Use caching to decrease page loading times" and check "Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences". Then click "Confirm" and when refreshed, your new logos should appear in game.
If the logos still don't work - did you install the pack in the correct path? Are there config.xml-files in every folder (normal-clubs and competitions, small-clubs and competitions)?
Try to download and install my new Update1 - all correct config.xml-files are included.
schweigi
New Update1 available (~1600 logos)! Downloadlink in first post.

Is there any way to change the config.xml file so that I don't have to store all the images on my C: drive? I was trying to edit the paths but it doesn't seem to work
schweigi
You can change the config.xml-file, but all files have to be in C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\graphics

@schweigi are you planning to add a @2x resolution for small logos in your pack?
schweigi
No, i don't have plans for a @2x resolution.

Hi @schweigi, I noticed some strange behavior on logo's that are wider than 180px, they tend to be much bigger for small icons (25px by 18px) [1] and much larger in the overviews [2].
The way this could be fixed is by using 180px by 180px, but I don't know what the discussion is about that (I know there has been talks about that here). The small icons could be fixed by resizing the ‘normal’ ones to 180x180 and then convert those to 25x18 (those converted normal ones should then only be used to generate the small ones.
What is your view on this?

All small logos in the pack are 25x18. So of course wider logos look bigger in the game, as they use the full width of 25 pixels. But this is the standard size.
The height of normal logos should be 180 and the width doesn't matter, because the logo is scaled down in the game. So the logo is displayed at the biggest possible size. In your example the logo looks bigger, but it has the same height as the other logos - it's only wider to use the maximum space.
I've created all logos in this standard size and i know some other logopacks are using 180x180 logos, but then wider logos often look really small. I've decided to keep this standard size, as i had no problems so far and it would be a lot of work do resize hundreds or thousands of logos.

Thank you for the answer! The reasoning behind is totally fair. Especially for normal logos. I think the small ones would look better with max width 18 and padding up until 25, but the work to put in it is massive. Although there are tools like this to help out a bit, it would probably make a minor difference to the whole set of logos. I think this only occurs to max 5% of all the logos.

Hi, after the latest update I have noticed the BVB U19 logo is incorrect.
Thank you so much guys for the amazing job you do here.

Sorry in advance - absolute first timer here, total noob. First time ever downloading anything for FM. Have found the folders and downloaded the 4 separate parts.
when I try to extract and put them all in the graphics folder it says the file name already exists - do I have to sepperste out all the files into the sun files? Also after parts 1-4 there’s the 5th file. Is that needed too?
thanks and sorry for my noobness

How do I load these packs in? downloaded all of them and have them under the graphics folder but can't seem to find somewhere where I can “activate it”

Thank you! and by the way, would this work on FM 21 Touch as well? I have the $30 version from steam. FM 21 Touch seems to have limited modding options, so I was just wondering. If this DOES work, does that apply for kits and juventus name fix/licenses as well?
schweigi
I have no experience with FM Touch, but graphics should work.

Mate, can you add some white outline to the logos so it looks good on the dark background? Thank you!

Hi there,
Thanks for all the work putting together the logo pack. It's awesome! I just downloaded the pack earlier and sat down to install it but I'm not seeing the normal sized logos for English Premier League teams. They show up in the small sized but not normal, which you can see below. The Norwich logo shows on the fixture list correctly but not in the next match area. When I look in the folder for normal sized logos I'm not able to find any of the EPL clubs. I've gone through this troubleshooting guide and tried clearing the cache to see if that helps but didn't have any luck. There is an config.xml file in each folder. I've followed the instructions given to other's in this forum who have had this issue (Preferences → Interface → Uncheck “Use caching to decrease page loading times” → check “reload skin when confirming changes” → Confirm). I'm on Mac and I've attached a screenshot of my pathfile below. The additional “normal” and “small” are from the changes update and I still have to fix that.
Thanks for your help troubleshooting this, I know it can be tiring answering the same questions over and over again.
wfm18
I looks like your small logo's are loading up. Is there a config.xml file located within your normal/clubs folder?
