It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Hello guys,
I’m completely new to Football Manager and to this forum. I started a few weeks ago and now I’m totally addicted to FM. I read about this cut-out-faces Megapack and downloaded it as explained on this site.
After getting the 19 GB file with Torrent, I downloaded every new 13.xx version. After extracting the files with „The Unarchiver“ (Mac) I copied the pictures in the main graphic folder and replaced the old picures. Unfortunately not all pictures are displayed in game, although they are in my graphics folder. I don’t know what I did wrong, hopefully somebody can help me.

This is the right folder, yeah. Can I see inside the faces folder?
How many images in total do you have in your faces folder? You should have well over 300k, all in just one folder and no sub-folders at all. If that is the case, have a look at the first post in this thread so that you can see what you need to change your preferences to in order for this pack to work 👍

Yes, I have over 300k in each of my faces and iconfaces folder. I also checked the first post and my preferences were correct. I cleared the cache and reloaded the skin, but some faces still are missing in game, although they are in the folders. Maybe I should download it again? Because I don't know if there is anything else I could do.

Can you mention a few of the faces which are missing in-game? Maybe with in-game screenshots and screenshots of them within your faces folder?

I noticed many faces of German youth players are missing, but also other young players. For example Lasse Günther, Shola Shoretire or Igor Matanovic.

How large is your config.xml file in terms of filesize? And can I see your in-game preferences too please?

That's what I think, too. Maybe I have done something wrong in the in-game preferences, but don't know what. The config.xml file is 21,3 MB big.

You haven't overwritten the config file from the original 13.0 megapack, for some reason. The config file is what tells the game to assign what faces to which players, and the one you're using doesn't yet have the players you mention included in it, which is why they aren't showing.

Can someone please help me I'm trying to download the Cut out player faces megapack, after ten times whitout any luck I'm going bananas.
The download stops after 5 min every time and I can't reload the download, its says connection lost?
Im using a Mac and have never experienced any problems like this before.

It might be a temporary issue either with our servers or your internet connection. Use Google Chrome or a download manager to resume your download from the point it was interrupted 👍

I used chrome this time, but im not abel to resume the download, it stops after 855mb every time.

Another strange thing is that according to chrome it will take me 10 hours to download 20gb when its usually taktes about 10 to 15 min.
I checkade my connection and its nothing wrong whit it (300mb/s)

After reviewing it, I agreed with my original assessment that the current megapack cut is better. If you want to use the more recent cut in your game, it's as easy as overwriting the current cut with the more recent one.

I am using the DF11 facepack right now.If I add this pack, will they clash or will it just fill the missing pictures from one another?

You will need to add the cut-outs to the same folder as the DF11 facepack cut-outs. If you want to keep all the DF11 cut-outs choose ‘skip’ when you are asked if you want to overwrite any cut-outs. You will need to add and overwrite the config file so add that seperately.
The only potential problem is if there are any players/staff in the DF11 pack that are not in the cut-out megapack. I doubt there are many (if any) that aren't in the megapack but if there are any you would have to create a new config file for the entire pack (and do a new one each time you add more cut-outs) otherwise those players/staff won't show a cut-out in the game.
Easiest way to check this is to check the number of cut-outs in your folder when everything has been added and see if it's the same number as in the cut-out megapack (currently 313,654 cut-outs).

Curious about this one too, but for 14. Or just wondering how to properly apply the change files to the current years master file. Should I download every version, like 6.0-6.10 for FM14 and overwrite the files?

Another solution is to just have both packs. They don't clash. The game reads the folders in alphabetical order. So the game will read and put the faces of one pack first and then read the next one and fill in the blanks. You will of course have a lot of doublets, but the game doesn't care. Another way is that every thing that goes in to your skin folder takes preference for anything in your graphics folder. So you can put the pack you prefer in your skin folder somewhere and the second priority pack in your graphics folder. Hope that helps you.

I don't believe the torrent files are available for versions of this game which are this old. Even if they were, I very much doubt how many seeds you'd find. I'd suggest just using the current base megapack tbh.
