It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

If mirrors for that far back are no longer available, then I would suggest downloading the 4.0 torrent (which will contain the 3.0 pack and all the 3.xx update packs) or whichever more recent torrent file is available 👍

Any reason why there isn't a face in any of the packs for Curtis Jones of Liverpool ?
I always thought it was because of not being allowed to add faces to the younger players but Curtis isn't as young any more.

Need a bit more info mate. What happens? I recommend using Google Chrome in incognito mode. No extensions to potentially interrupt the download and the facility to resume an interrupted download if it happens.

I downloaded it on my Mac, then downloaded it on my PC. Then noticed I had done it wrong on my Mac, so wanted to download the Megapack again but every time I get a message saying failed after a short while.
I just tried incognito mode on Chrome which seemed better and then failed again.
Internet is fine. I am wondering if its because I have downloaded the file more than a couple of times?

I don't think it should make a difference that you've downloaded it more than once. What do you mean by failed? Can you take a screenshot? Using Chrome, you should be able to resume interrupted download. It is also recommended that you avoid having other downloads going on at the same time or other bandwidth-intensive applications such as streaming, torrents etc.

I tried at 7am, and nobody else was up or using any of the Internet indoors.
Then later and got the same.
7pm, tried again with no joy and also on Incognito.
Each time I clicked retry and had no joy at all.
I am having another go now and will screenshot it if it goes wrong.

Done 1.47gb and then this. I click retry, and then it shows the same again and removes the file from the download folder. IT 101 is next!

Yeah I clicked the arrow, clicked resume, it said the same thing and deleted the file from the download folder.

Must be a Mac thing then, on PC you can click resume multiple times if required.

It worked fine on the Mac previously. I just noticed some of the pics were missing so thought I'd just get the whole lot again.

Sussed it! It was something to do with my anti-virus stopping it.

I've tried downloading both the 19-part files and the single Megapack (I became a subscriber to do it) and unarchiving the rar file keeps going wrong with unarchiver on Mac. I've also tried downloading it via Firefox and Google Chrome. I've been able to get the kit packs to work fine but both logos and faces have been giving me trouble, so clearly I'm doing something wrong? Can anyone help? I've tried to follow all of the instructions to the detail, but I must be doing something wrong somewhere.

Also, when i try to extract the full torrented package, winrar tells me it will take about 24 hours and 7zip goes crazy and tells me it will take months. I'm extracting to the same drive and have a decent computer. Am i doing something wrong or is it legitimately going to take 24 hours?
I tried to extract overnight with 7zip, but when i came back it had only done a fraction.

I'm not entirely sure about the torrent file as I can't check right now, but that sounds about right, yeah.
I'm aware that sometimes with such a big file, the computer gets the calculation of extraction time wrong but it does speed up after a while. Based on what other users say, it may take around an hour or slightly more with all conditions being ideal, so close any running programs and Chrome tabs for example.
I would recommend that you have as few apps open as possible when extracting it because I am led to understand the extraction process is very resource-intensive and focusing the computer's resources solely on it will speeden up the process. If you leave it overnight and it's only partly extracted means there's something wrong somewhere. Perhaps restarting the system and giving it a clean slate before starting the extract process might help. I also recommend using Winrar instead of 7zip.

Well, I feel like an idiot. It was a storage issue on my end. Cleared that up, re-downloaded the file and extracted without problem. Thanks for the help and for all the work to put the pack together, it's so awesome!

Any way the 3.00 facepack could be fixed. I click it and I get ‘This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.' Wanting to play some old FMs and it's a nightmare to find facepacks with links still working, wonder if there's anyway of getting this one.

Having said that, the 3.00 facepack was released in October 2010 so don't get your hopes too high on it still being available…
