It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

If you want to overwrite one of the cut-outs included as default by SI, all you need to do is include a new image for it, add it to a config file and it'll display instead of the default.

I am currently unable to take screenshots of you. Maybe you will start uploading updates to Mediafire or Mega because the current ones are so slow. or the complete set as a torrent.

If you want me to try and help you, I need a screenshot of your preferences to see if they're the same as they are in the first post of this thread. In order to see if you have the correct files in the correct place, I would need screenshot of your megapack location as well as knowing if you have the files you want in place. To see if a person is in your megapack, use the Cut Out Player Faces Megapack search tool here by typing the player's name and seeing what their Unique ID is, then check if that UID is in your megapack folder, like so:
Many years of helping out in this thread have taught me to ask for screenshots for all the above as the first port of call because many users for whom the file doesn't work as intended will not have installed it fully. The megapack works if you download all the files and install them properly. When that's not the case, which is what I suspect has happened here, then it won't work as intended. Once you can take screenshots of what I have requested, please post them and I can try and see where the issue lies, otherwise my capacity to help you is limited.
On this page, you can check which files you have downloaded and which you haven't. It's not the same as knowing which ones you have installed and which you haven't, I know, but maybe it could help.
Please read this for a reason as to why uploading them elsewhere isn't really an option right now. Given the frequency of update packs, it also makes little sense to have torrents of the whole megapack created every time, apart from needing to have them all seeded and updated every time.

Hi everyone,
I'm following instructions to install the Cut Out player faces, I am on Windows 10.
In my Documents → Sports Interactive → FM2021 folder, there is not a graphics sub-folder, there is however, a skins folder. It sounds daft but do I just create the graphics folder myself? I ran into the same problem last year on 2020 and it put me off installing any packs.
Any advice is appreciated.

Is there any idea where there could be a fault, yesterday the cut-out faces work well and today no one's face is visible.
And yes the pictures and paths are going right Documents → Sports Interactive → FM2021 → graphics → faces.
I have tried to load again and again skin, change skins and even cleared cache. This has never happened before, and I have been playing and wearing cut-out faces for 11 years.

Yes, I added new cut-out faces yesterday and added them to the config file as well. Yesterday they worked just fine.
But it's like this on every team now.

You'll have messed up the config file somehow. Your best bet is to download the latest update pack and use the config file from there.
To avoid this issue, I recommend putting any new images you want to add in a separate sub-folder and create a separate config file in there just for the newly-added images. This way you don't mess up the config file governing the megapack in the worst case scenario that something goes wrong.
I would recommend generating a config file using fmXML, available elsewhere on the site 👍

Then you probably haven't installed it right. You need to delete the dbc, edt and lnc folders not just overwrite the contents.

My problem is that I downloaded all the 29 packs of faces, but there are a lot of faces missing, with some really important ones like Messi´s, Luis Suárez´s, David Silva, e.t.c..
I waited to have all the packs and then I extracted so I dont know what happened, I used fmxml to changed the config file and realized there are only 61264 images. Thanks for the help.

You seem to have less than one-fifth of the images in the pack, which is why it isn't working for you. I would suggest downloading the torrent file, which contains the base 13.0 megapack, and then download the update packs released afterwards.
