With the latest patch, I assumed they would fix the match engine, and yet time and time again, my players seem not to react as a any Sunday league footballer would know to do when the ball is coming towards you. Why is it so bad this year. I didn't think there was much wrong with the last one, so why the big change, and why is it so shit. I've always been good at creating tactics, so I don't care what anyone says, I do not believe my tactics are to blame.

Why a player decides to pick up the ball in his own half, and dribbles towards the corner of his own end, with the opposition chasing, why he then decides to pass it straight across the face his own goal into the path of an opposing striker is beyond me!

There is no where in my tactics that says panic, run the opposite way and then pass to the other team...


Also, I find my strikers will have 10 - 20 shots, and only 3-5 of them will be anyway near the goal. I wouldn't mind so much if they hit the post,just missed, had the shot saved, but these are getting close to the corner flag.

Something is serious;y wrong. I'm pretty sure it's only my deeply embedded addiction of the game that is keeping me playing - the thought that maybe, it is me, or my tactics, or the morale of the team that is making them play so badly, one day I may just turn that corner, and start playing well, winning and passing around properly! But no.....

There's now three major patches out, and it's worse than ever for me. Before 13.3, i could manage ok, with the odd strange defensive decision, but I'd at least be able to score a few goals.

Will there be another patch to fix the match engine? Or is it literally just me that is struggling like this??

I refuse to download other peoples tactics, as I deem that cheating... I have tweaked mine, here and there, and given plenty of time for the players to get used to them... But still no change.


I've had enough!!!

Well... I'll still keep playing, but I won't enjoy it!!!

totally agree with what your saying mate as im having exactly the same issues. just switched on my PC today and steam began downloading what seems like another patch! is there a list of improvements anywhere??
