It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

So, I just found the problem, As you said, I forgot that I put a backup of my old config in my football manager 2021 file, and it seems this is what caused the problem even though I didn't put it in the graphics file, thank you so much for your help, you are the best.

Thanks for that comprehensive breakdown, but screenshots speak a thousand words 🙂 Screenshots of (a) your megapack folder and (b) of a player in-game you believe should have a cut would help.
Do you have any other facepacks installed perhaps? How many images do you have in your faces folder?
Not sure changing font size and/or skin would resolve your problem, and having more than one config file is a guarantee for it not working, if anything.

The last screenshot is for the config file of the icons file. If that's what you have in your faces folder, no wonder it's not working. The config of the faces folder and the icon faces are different for a reason. How did it end up there?

Hello guys, I recently switched from a PC to a Mac and have reinstalled FM20 on my new machine. I managed to install my skins, logopacks and my backups but I cannot install my cut out facepack. I have tried everything but can't do it. So what is the path to follow on Mac to install the facepack? Thank you in advance for your help !

From FM20 onwards, there's been a substantial change to how Mac FM documents are stored. Previously the files would automatically go in the Documents folder here:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Documents/Sports Interactive
Now the files will instead appear in the following location:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive
By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:
Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 2020’

There is a screenshot, I put the 2 folders on the Football Manager 2020 folder but I don't know if I have to put them in “graphics” or something.

If they're not in graphics, then the game won't detect them, so if you move them into that folder, you should be fine 🙂

I would like to ask, what is the problem with this player? First of all, thanks mons for being quite responsive and helpful here in the forum.
I have the base pack running perfectly fine in my Mac FM21 install, but now I decided to download the updates. From what I understood here, I MUST download all the updates since the base install I have.
But I have a 2nd question regarding installing the update is how to install it in my base. Do I copy the folders inside the Base folders? Or do I copy the contents of these updates to the respective base folders, replacing when necessary? If so, what happens to the config.xml ? Does the updated file include the contents of everything before? Do I need to rename that config.xml file?

That Milan Ilic whose profile you linked is actually a referee. The Milan Ilic loanee at Loznica is not in the FM database yet.
In reply to your second question, if a person is not currently in the database, then he cannot be added to the megapack and therefore there is no point in requesting him here. Once he is added to the database, at this point once FM22 is released, then he can be requested accordingly, but until then there are other, more pressing, priorities for our cutters to focus on.
The contents of the faces folder from the update pack are to go into the faces folder of your megapack folder, and same for the iconfaces folder. You will be prompted if you want to overwrite a number of files - which prompt you are to accept 👍

Hello. I have a strange problem. I have the Megapack, and it was working fine, but then I had to reinstall FM 21, and now, none of the faces of the Dutch players are showing up. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know of a solution? I've tried reloading the skin and doing the usual turning of caching.

Just downloading his cut-out isn't enough. You need to modify the config file so the game knows which image to display for which person.
Backup your existing config and follow the instructions from here on how to change it.
