It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Now I have done what you told me, and it still doesnt work 😢 Alle the other pictures from the logoes and kits are there but the faces doesnt show.
Any idea of what I should do?

I fixed it 🙂 I just had to clear cache and I resetted the setting ingame and the pictures was back.. But thank you so much for the quick respond and help. This is why I have been using this site for 10 years, I cant play FM without you guys here 🙂

Hi all,
Having big issues with both a mega pack and a PL pack I downloaded this season. Neither packs are showing in game and at one point have been extracted into my graphics folder. My trophies, logos, kits and backgrounds all working fine but no luck with the faces, even when clearing the cache etc.
I'm on a Macbook if that's any help.
No idea what I'm clearly doing wrong this time.

I've only got the PL pack in my graphics at the moment, I moved the mega pack out of graphics onto an SD card earlier when trying to test a different pack.
I've attached the paths and the current interface settings too.
The images are not showing on the player profile when clicked on either.

From FM20 onwards, there's been a substantial change to how Mac FM documents are stored. Previously the files would automatically go in the Documents folder here:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Documents/Sports Interactive
Now the files will instead appear in the following location:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive
By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:
Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 2020’

I can't see a reason why they shouldn't work, but I can't really tell much more because it's not the actual megapack which is installed.
What's in the comp folder?
Can you a search for files titled config.xml within your graphics folder and post the result, showing the path they're located in?

Hi perhaps a stupid question and probably asked before. I downloaded part 1 till part 17. Do I have to unpack each part seperately? Because when I start unpacking part 2 it asked if I wanted to overwrite files. Thanks for our answer.

I don't know offhand how many parts there are. But if you download them all, then the extracting program (e.g. Winrar or 7zip) will automatically extract all of them at the same time.

Remove the files in your screenshots, download the full file and install it as per the video tutorial posted earlier, and you should be fine.
