Anybody else noticed that strikers we manage are really overpowered in FM22?

  • I played as United, Cristiano scored almost 50 goals for me in first season
  • currently playing as AC Milan, Belotti & Ibra both scored more goals than they've played games (Belotti 24 in 18, Ibra 15 in 13)
  • in an online save with my friends, Belloti scored 20+ goals in 15 apps for my Barca team
  • watching WorkTheSpace's save with Newcastle, Calvert-Lewin scored 50 for him in a season
  • also seen a guy on twitter who plays as Deportivo La Coruna and Guidetti scored 53 goals in 3rd division

And that only happens when you manage the strikers, AI's strikers are scoring 'normally'.

I've got the impression that with high morale, yes, you're correct.

Got into a career with Borussia Dortmund and could barely get Haaland past 30, while in a previous career with Lazio had Immobile at 58 goals among all competitions.

Morale's impact way more than previous titles, low morale players are also the ones more likely to make you lose games, more than strikers/poachers being OP, I feel morale's is way too impactful.

Gonna try Valencia and see what Gomèz can do.

Playing 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-1-2, based on “are there decent wingers in this club?"
