It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too š

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Hi, can't seem to get my facepacks to work. I moved my original facepack file across and downloaded the latest changes. Everything is in the correct place, but it's not working. This is the first time it has not worked.
Can someone please help me? I just got FM today.

Why do you have a folder titled 11.03 in there? Remove it. You should have one folder and one folder only.
Do you have a file named config.xml in your faces folder? And how many images in total do you have in there?

Removed, and yes i do have a file called config. 336247 in faces & 336237 in iconfaces. Still nothing is working.

That's strange. How large is the config.xml file in your faces folder? And what do you get in-game of a player who should have a cut-out but doesn't? Can I see a screenshot of that?

I only see the silhouttes & 24.1MBs so it's not large. As you can see my logo files have been picked up, but nothing else.

I was using V-league database( Vietnamese League) But its seems it doesn't contains not enough players face. (vietnamese players). Can you keep update it?

Hi, I have downloaded the full face cut out mega pack (I am a premium member so was able to download in one go) and completed the necessary steps. Some of the faces are coming out blank. Please can you advise why this would be the case? Screenshot attached for reference. Thank you

It might be that the pack didn't download or extract fully. How many images in total do you have in your faces folder? You should have in the region of 340,000 images, if all is correct.

All seems fine. However, I'm noticing that there are two images in that screenshot with zero bytes (0.png and 8.png), which means they haven't been fully or properly extracted.
Can I have a screenshot for the same location, showing 20178.png, which is Ancelotti's UID?

I think you may be right and it hasn't extracted properly. There is no Ancelotti UID within the faces folder, however I have found a blurred image (as per attached) which is in a different folder for some reason. Please could you advise what is best going forward? Will I need to re-extract the RAR file? Thank you

The download contains a faces folder, and an iconfaces folder. The former displays the full cut-out, while the latter is a smaller version displayed next to a person's name when you right-click on them.
The image you've uploaded is that of Ancelotti's iconfaces image, so that's not an issue at all.
I would recommend removing the folder you've extracted and re-extracting it again š

No, it's not something that will be quick and with Christmas coming up I doubt i'll be able to look into it before January.

Getting an Individual picture to appear in game:
1) Save your chosen picture as the correct ID into the following folder:
My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 201x/graphics/anywhere apart from your MP folder
(You may need to create the last 3 folders)
2) Next you need to create a config file, (the file that links the game to the image) and put it in the folder "Individual" with your picture.
You can download fmXML (Instruction Video) which will do it automatically for you. Save it.
3) Go back to your game prefs and untick "Show unique IDs" click confirm and hey presto your picture should be there.
