can I get the update file to work in a tutorial version of the game ? 

@Footygamer We're doing it manually now, but isn't there an easy button to just ‘end all loans that last until 30/6/2022'?

Yep that should be possible I'll look into it.

Don't really know what you mean by this, but Isak Vural isn't in the game because he was 15 at the time of release, only players over 16 are in 👍

@Footygamer Seems that if you terminate a loan, the player will still be displayed on the page of their loan club. Same thing if you set up a loan, they won't move to the page of their new team (not a big deal, but a bit annoying when doing research for the facepack and stuff)

@Footygamer Sorry to bother, but another thing: wouldn't it be better to remove the ‘loan wage percentage' field and just let the game work out the appropriate number? 99/100 times the club won't announce how much they pay anyway. And now you have people just setting up random numbers, which sometimes means that smaller clubs will spend almost their whole wage budget on 1 loan player…

Hi guys..just wanted to let you know arsenal transfer history is mash up, Elneny has just signed from Basel beginning of this season lol & it says lacazette sold for 46million ..but U can see in lacazette player history that he when for free..pls can u fix this, other than that arsenal is good ..I found nketiah is now contracted until 2027 👍🏽 but on 15k p/w stil ..when I started the save nketiah requested a new contract immediately so I give him 100k lool  ..Gabriel Jesus wages need also needs changing aswel as I’m sure he is not stil in 110k ..I think he is on 220k but can be adjusted with in game editor from start of save so is a minors problem , thank you for all your great work 

Can i use the data update for FM2022 on FM2021? If not, does the forum have updates for 2021?

No you can't, past updates for FM21 are here, but of course they won't contain all transfers that are being done now

Why is that? I remember couple of years ago u could download updates for older games. Is it cuz of the extra work or have SI complained about “suporting” older games?

They never worked properly and dealing with all the bug reports complaining they didn't work was more time consuming than working on the one for the latest version. Unfortunately it's not really practical to maintain them for older versions IF they're going to massively increase the workload. It's still something i'd like to achieve in the future if it can be fully automated.

Already implemented

I used the data update which implements Real as the CL winner in 2022 and a May 2022 start. The game still simulated the CL, creating 2 CL winners in 2022. Is it possible to avoid this?

Is it possible to use this in fm21?

@Footygamer Some people already had a future transfer set up in the default database, can you change those to direct transfers all at once? Most important ones have already been done probably, but still

That change was submitted and approved some days back.

386 people that had a future transfer set in the original DB have had a submission with a permanent transfer auto created.

7894 loans from the original DB that have an expiry date in the past will also be removed soon.

In future this will happen automatically each night 1am UTC.

The automatic script will not touch any person that has had a comment or a submission in the past, even if no submission is currently enabled, this is on the assumption that a human has already checked that person.

When you hover over the Data Update link in the header you should now see a link to Recent Comments.

This makes it easier to spot comments people have left on people.

You may find you often have to click into the person to get proper context but this should still help.

If it can be improved please let me know.

He's not in the database as he was under 16 at the start of the game, he'll be added in FM23

I disagree with how the transfers and loans are being done. They’re being done in real life time rather than game time so a player who goes on loan for a season is now going on loan for two season in the game, this seems wrong to me. We should ignore the calendar to a certain degree. 

That ‘certain degree' is completely subjective, it's impossible to please everyone with how we set things up unfortunately. We use the real life dates for everything to keep things clear for all users.

Btw all loans ending on 30/6/2022 have been automatically removed, as they have ended in real life. Since in your requests you put them to end on 30/6/2022 as well, they will also have been disabled. I'll check if I can work something out for those
