Hi! This doesn't seem to be working in FM23, is it just the config issue?

I don't think that the default skin supports background packs. Logos/faces are working okay, for me at least.

true, unfortunately the basic skin does not support the backgrounds photos in my case either

(Mac User) Ive downloaded all the Packs and then uploaded them to the Graphics folder, I've then unticked the use caching box and ticked the skins box and reloaded skin, I then go back and re tick the use caching box (I think this is correct) started a new game but nothing has come up?

Ive retried this 3 or 4 times and always started a new game but still nothing there?

Any idea's, anything I may be doing wrong or missing out in process?

I am facing the same issue, even if I try to put the same architecture of the folders as last year, I can't see any background (player, staff, club, …).

Ofc I cleared the cache and everything, the same steps as for the logos, faces & kits.

So I don't know, maybe I'm missing something to make it work

did you check all your ticked boxes? 

I stupidly had unticked the box below the skins box in preferences and went back and ticked it and it worked. I think it’s got ID written next to it. 

how did you fix the problem? which boxes do i need to tick??

unticked the use caching, ticked the reload skin and show id but nothing helps. does it work on fm 23?

I'll pick up bits and bobs of the Northern league, I'm on the forum every week checking scores anyways so I'll see a lot of news regarding players.  I've read the guidelines thread but the likelihood that I'll be able to put packs together like South Shields will be slim {Long Eaton have a dedicated photographer so I'll try them next}, I'll likely be upscaling or a few players will be in the picture, not a lot I can do about it I'm afraid, feel free to knock them back if you don't like the quality, it won't bother me much.  One thing I have noticed in the pack is that I'm sure the Kion Etete {Cardiff City} player is wrong, the other image is the correct one.

Yeah have you added a different skin? 
i also added the transparent skin for FM23 and it’s all worked now, maybe try that? 

no im using the regular skin. does it work only on downloaded skins?

Well it never worked for me until I added the skin from here, I also had another skin from a different site and the backgrounds never worked on that either? 

People doing research for the lower leagues is always appreciated! If you find the quality of the source is really bad though, please save yourself the time and skip those. In those cases we'd rather leave a person without an image until a better source appears.

You're right about the Etete one, I've uploaded an image of him in a Cardiff shirt now 👍

Can you be a bit clearer? We have 2 types of stadium images, the aerial ones and insides. Which one should be on the team page?

Yes, I solved it. I had to copy the folders as they were! Last question and no longer disturbing, I promise: In that box how can I show the external photo of the stadium and not the internal one?

1. Delete the config file in the external and internal backgrounds folder (or delete the internal folder completely if you don't want to use those)
2. Create a new config file yourself for the external folder as explained in this thread: https://sortitoutsi.net/content/60493/how-to-use-a-specific-part-of-the-megapack

So like this: 

Set the little dot to background and stadium and the drag the “stadium_backgrounds” folder on to the app. Then open the config with notepad and press ctrl+h and replace “background” with “stadium” and press replace all.

Config lines need to look like this:  <record from="xxxx" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/xxxx/stadium"/>

Hello. I m struggling with all of this fm23 packs being separatelly. Can t make them work at all. I tried also with the graphic configurator and still doesn t work. Any ideeas??

When i delete the config from each folder and then try to put the folder in app,it doesn t work. I need to put only the folder with the images to work in the app and so then I can edit them. But also in game doesnt have any effects

Can you post a screenshot of your backgrounds folder?

You shouldn't have to edit any configs yourself, did you have the old version installed and then updated thrm with these? It's the easiest to delete the pack completely and then install these 5 new versions

Oke, made it now without edit and still not working. It s only puting the stadiums photo at Clubs info and that s all 🤷‍♂️. I did delete the old ones and put the 5 new ones. I ll come with a screenshot later.

hello i just downloaded 8 background files separately and they have their each config files inside. however, none of them showing up except mini stadium pics. i have facepacks, logos and kits working properly.

i am using WTCS5 skin. i deleted and downloaded several times. is there something you can help with?

What skin are you using? Some skins only support certain types of backgrounds

So you have the same problem as the other person, can you try a different skin to see if that changes anything?

Can u suggest me one please? Maybe it s from skin
