It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Hi, im in the process of adding faces for players who currently dont have one and new players added in fm23. I name the image after the players ID number and then place the image into the faces folder but after reloading skin in game the player does not have the face. Am i doing something wrong? This only happens for players who have never had a face before in fm

I recently updated my pack, I simply deleted old one and downloaded the new version, this contains iconfaces (smaller faces), I had this before with normal and small.
I've just loaded game and faces are appearing but they're no appearing in the staff list this time, before you'd had little faces but not in fm23? Is this just the game or is this the actual pack not showing?
Tried this with both the FM skin and WTS skin.

Hi guys - I've download the Cut Out Player Faces megapack - however can't see the faces of places when I load the game.
As you can see below I have reload skin when confirming changes in preferences ticked + I have cleared the cache.
I have also created my own graphics folder and can see all player/manager faces so not sure what I am doing wrong.
The only thing I am thinking is that maybe the fact that my config xe is showing as blank may be an issue?
Any assistance please?

The full path is below. It says there is 2860 files contained within them. The config file size is 27.7 MB

Hey, so the pack has 2 folders, yes? one with normal sized faces and one with smaller.
On fm22 if I clicked on a club page for example, let's say Liverpool… then you view all staff and it will list the all staff at club, from chairman down to physios, yeah?
I'm sure that on Fm22 with the pack I had (with both normal and small faces) that the smaller faces would show here, no?

It might be the case that you've mistakenly not installed the pack correctly or in the wrong place or don't have the full pack. Until I see screenshots of these, any assistance I may offer may well be futile and possibly further complicate matters. It might be a skinning thing too.
Once you provide the screenshots, I should be in a position to pinpoint what the matter is, and why it is happening 👍
That has to do with the skin that you are using, some skins will display the faces in areas that that base skin doesn't. So it's not an issue with the facepack.

Thanks, I've attached screenshot of the 2 folders I have in graphics, they're in a folder called 'player faces" - they work but just not sure if the smaller iconfaces are.
My game is down (STEAM won't update) so can't get access to game screenshot just yet.

There's a reason I ask the questions I do, and that's to help the both of us get to the bottom of the issue. If you don't answer them, it's just gonna take the both of us that little bit longer to get there. Since your FM23 is down, can you get an in-game screenshot of FM22 where the iconfaces are showing that they're not in FM23 in the same place?

One is the staff page I was mentioning and I have highlighted where faces might appear. The other is iconfaces folder (so the smaller faces).
Perhaps it's just that they should not appear here in the new game or this skin… but I am curious and not all too bothered if they do, just wanting to clarify that both size faces are working as the pack contained both.

Hi just loaded up a Juventus save and there's a fair chunk of players whose faces are missing e.g., Locatelli Kulusevski etc. I've used this pack for a couple years now and not had this problem before, any ideas?

As intimated earlier, it is a skinning issue. The default skin does not display iconfaces on that page.

Here are two examples of each, seems to be no noticeable correlation, isn't just my own teams players and I have installed the complete mega pack

So you only have around 223,000 faces while the megapack has over 378,000 in total, do you remember anything going wrong with extracting the file? It might be best to download the complete pack again

is it possible to break up the images into subfolders without having to make multiple config.xml files? I play on multiple computers and would like to sync everything between them, but I have a 50,000 file limit per folder

Am I crazy or is Emre Tezgel has a default faces in beta? And Mons how do you know Endrick ID before beta was released because I think you put the faces in update 2023.00..

I'm trying to download the complete pack but every time I get up to 1 gig downloaded it fails and says “network error”. I've tried resetting my modem and router, turning off my firewall and virus protection but nothing helps. Any suggestions?
