It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

It should take you a little while longer than usual for the splash screen to load the first time that you have the megapack in place. How powerful is your computer and how many things do you have running in the background? Both will make a difference.
Can I see a screenshot of the location where you've installed the files?

That's nonetheless not the right way to install it. You should have one folder and one folder only, not multiple sub-folders. As it is, you'll have a large chunk of the megapack not displaying.

The first two aren't in the official database, and so we do not have cut-outs for them. The last two are in the megapack and can be found using the search function.
Can you make a screenshot of your faces folder like this, showing how many images are in there? You probably haven't installed the full pack correctly

I have a pretty big problem when it comes to the new version of downloading the cutout faces megapack. The rar file seems corrupt(?), as no software i have tried (ive used like 5 at this point), seems to be able to unzip it. This is on mac so maybe there is a problem with my macbook or apple. Please let me know if any of you have this problem, or if you could help i would really appreciate it. The game just feels so dull without the faces.

What file are you downloading? What is the size of the eventual download?
I suggest using Winrar to extract it.

All of them. Like the parts (Cut out faces mega pack). Part one worked but then i just couldnt extract more without there being an error.

As i said i was trying to do the split parts (files). The file is (as i hope you know) 1 GB per part. The whole thing downloads without an issues, but extracting it seems to be where the problem arises.

I've downloaded a Japanese league player database - how do I get their faces to appear? Unless I'm confused, it appears that there are Japanese league player faces in this pack, no? Everything else seems to be working fine.

Japanese players are hidden in the official database. The images in this pack are for Japanese players based abroad.
The Japanese players added in your download will be ones created from scratch, whose UID is variable, and which therefore cannot be included in the megapack, unfortunately.

Hi all,
Does anyone have any idea why this has happened? The face pack has worked brilliantly for me but recently some players who did have faces now no longer have faces or outlines. The latest face pack is saves in the graphics folder so it is not a case of not knowing how to install them. The lastest config file is also installed.
Any help will be much appreciated!

When an empty space appears instead of a cut-out or the black default outline, it means that there is a folder somewhere in your graphics structure which has a config file pointing to a filename which isn't actually there.
Both Yousfi and Drame were added in 2022.03. Did you re-install it somewhere else recently perchance?
Can you make a search in the graphics folder of the following UID: 2000036021?
Before you take a screenshot, can you post the results in the manner outlined below?
This can be achieved by posting the UID in the red circle, choosing the view tab via the blue circle, the details option in the black circle and making sure the folder column in the green circle is long enough to display the full path.
This will help me see if there is one or more other folders in your user data folder which contains one or more other facepacks…
