The number of ‘files needing updating' is often not accurate

I think this may be caused by you demodding yourself i've fixed it so it won't happen again.

What do you mean by “often”. How often is it becoming inaccurate?
Have you reset it and then seen it become out of sync again after a certain period?

I think it's pretty much every time.
For example, right now:
I manually have to mark all files as not needing re-downloading for the 1 files needs updating tag to go away, whenever it pops up and I download the file(s) in question.

Hmm I've just done some experimenting and it's working perfectly for me.
If you use the reset or temporary show button is it inaccurate in regards what files it lists?
When you view a file that needs updating it should show a green message telling you it's been updated with exact dates given. Does this happen and do the dates make sense or give any indication what might be happening?

If I use the temporary show buttons, it shows a whole list of files I've never bothered to update, all of which are a fair bit old. Looks accurate, but I can't really tell.
Once I marked all files as not needing re-downloading, the 1 download pending icon has been removed.
The issue is that, once you download the file the site is telling you is pending, the counter doesn't update itself. The dashboard will look fine and empty, but the counter remains what it was before you actually updated the files in question.

@Footygamer I believe that something is wrong with the skin page. I dont think the “recently updated” are showing right 🤷♂️ As far as I can see they are not filteret by how resent they were updated.

When clicking on FM23 Downloads on the left hand pane this page is then displayed, seems like a broken link needs updating.

@mons @Drafter the needs updating count should be fixed now. Although it will take about 1-2 hours from the time of posting for every user to have their count recalculated.

It's the same thing with a username with special characters, can it be made possible to tag via user ID as well?

What user where you trying to tag?
There is an update to the library we use for the tagging but when I tried it, it broke a number of other things. I've pushed it near the top of the list to try it again.

You can use “%” as a wildcard and he does appear If you type “@%Dec” but you're right that is annoying.
Think it was mentioned before but if I enable a transfer by accident and then disable it again, the player keeps being displayed on the other team's page. It's especially annoying if you're browsing through the graphic sections, where their image will then show up at the wrong team for the rest of the year.

Okay i've figured that out and fixed it now. It's resyncing all the teams as I speak should take about 10 minutes.

@Footygamer Hi, The number of pages present when you enter a keyword in the search has been removed for a few months. I was wondering if it was possible to reset the information about the number of pages, so that I can select the most recent one.

There's a similar problem that Drafter reported, but with players on loans. For example, Dolberg keeps being displayed on Sevilla's page. And Dubravka is on Man Utd page, even though he has already returned to Newcastle.

Images have been very slow to load - often timing out - today. Are there any issues with the media servers?

Still occurring on the cutout submissions page for me - it seems to be an issue with connecting to b-cdn.net (i.e. the thumbnail images hosted externally rather than the images hosted on sortitoutsi.net). Maybe they're having server/regional caching issues or something.
