It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Used the current Megapack for FM 15 and the majority if faces don't seem to work. They have 4 greyed out faces in place. Tried downloading the FM 15 megapack but no seeds . Any help would be great.

It's crazy because it worked fine before this and i have delete the regen picture i wanted but another picture (50% of players) don't reappear ingame
I think it's my fault with the regen picture but why don't reappear since i have deleted this unhappy regen picture ?

Download the most recent pack and use the config file contained within it.
If you want to add custom images, do so in a separate folder with a separate config file to avoid this kind of issue.

Apologies if this isn't the correct place to ask, I'm not sure where exactly to ask. Is there any specific reason I receive a Cloudflare timeout error when trying to download any packs older than v7.00? I have been assuming it's something related to the recent release of 2023.05 but I'd like an authoritative voice to my question. Thanks.

I suspect it's simply that it's such an old file that it's no longer being hosted.

Hello guys. I've just bought Fm23 and decided to download packs with club logos, player icons and none of them works. I tried reloading skin but it didn't solve me problem either. And I just realised that I have two folders with Football Manager and I wonder if that matters where I'll put graphics folder. Also I heard something about config folder but I don't know what it is. Does anyone know how to help me make those packs work ?

Hello people,
Im after a bit of help and advice hopefully someone has had the same problem I’m currently having and has a solution.
Basically the other night my game crashed and said FM had ran out of disk space. I ended up buying myself a USB stick and transferring everything across and it works fine and I haven’t had the message since (touch wood) however my facepacks aren’t working since I transferred everything across. I’ve changed my settings on steam so my game loads from my usb stick and not my laptop (there’s a YouTube video explaining how very well) I’ve cleared my cache, reloaded skin and I’ve even deleted all the facepacks and downloaded them again and put them in the relevant folders however I’m still having no joy!
has anyone every experienced this before so they have a solution?

Can we also have a screenshot of what your game looks like? Does Harry Kane have an empty space instead of his image, or the black default image?

Hello staff. I have a question. In FM22, if there is no corresponding image for a player/coach, a male/female black image will be used to replace the person. But in FM23, the black image is just gone - in other words, the place for a person's image becomes empty.
Is it normal in FM23 or do I just mess up some settings?

A blank space is only displayed in cases where a config file is pointing to an image which isn't in the corresponding folder.
I suspect this means that you don't have the full megapack. How many images do you have in your faces folder? And can you give an example of a player this issue is manifesting itself for?

I just found it weird, at least I haven't encountered that kind of problem in the past few years in FM. I used to download the latest face pack, only use and put the latest config file in my original graphics folder - it worked before.
Anyway it doesn't affect playing the game. Thanks for your reply.

For whatever reason, you don't have the full megapack. Delete what you have and download the full megapack again.

I had the same problem as him, I used the wtcs skin, but after switching to tato, all the faces appeared

Changing the skin refreshes the cache, which might have done the trick in your case.
