Site issues - reporting thread

There were no issues reported yesterday from them and it seems okay now. Unfortunately it's not something I could have fixed even if I was online at the time, but if you do notice it again please do report it.

These two should be fixed now and i've cleaned it up some more also fixing some issues with national team manager movements not always syncing.

A couple of really minor bugs I found.
If the link in a proof starts with "w", that letter doesn't show up for some reason.

"Search" button in the private messages and search tab overlaps with the dropdown menus.

And sorting by position doesn't seem to work.

Data details here don't update.

Martinez etc should be fixed now.

The position sort and z-index in search button have been on the todo list for ages and it's a bit embarrassing how long its taken to get round to it.

@Footygamer could the YouTube video on how to install backgrounds be added to main page of the packs here :

It is there if you click the small camera button, but I thinks it should have a larger visual place on the page. It is a bit of a shame when the video has been made if people do not use it 😀👍

For some reason, data details no longer appear on the phone.

These 3 appear with only their first name in the cut-out section but if you then click through to their game data it's correct with the last name

These have been fixed now. I don't know what has gone on with the names this year, but i've gone through and checked them all again and think it's okay now (but I did the same a few weeks ago and apparently it wasn't so… I dunno).

Perhaps you could do something similar (if not identical) for the editor file section? 

Yeah I could add something the same as skins, that's a good idea.

I don't massively like having it in a topic because we have to manually think to add stuff.

What I would really like to add is a list of all nations/leagues that are playable by default alongside ones that can be added with links to download the add on. I made a start last year on this list of playable clubs but never completed it. Then also update the random club picker to have a “include expandable” leagues button.

That would also be a little complicated by fantasy comps/leagues.

@Footygamer This staff member appears in the players' section when browsing graphics. There may be more cases like this, but I haven't looked into it too much.

@Footygamer Perhaps a temporary bug, but all updated logos don't appear in the browsing system.

Fixed and moved a bunch of these images to the CDN for hopeful speed improvements.

Fixed that now, just a few new people didn't build properly.

@Footygamer I don't know if it's a known bug, but good amount of the cuts don't have "In Megapack" status and thus don't display correctly in the browsing system.

Hmm looks like I messed this up when reimporting a player from 2023.03.

Will get this fixed asap.

I also found around 300 other issues with either duplicates or in pack images not showing as in pack dating back about 3 years.

I'll look into these as well but I assume that's not a pressing issue since nobody has been reporting it until now.

@Footygamer The player search is a bit wonky for some names. I tried searching for “Pedro De Souza” which should find this guy. I don`t see a reason why it wouldn't find him 😕

Predictor site appears to be having issues

Thanks I silently put “an improved version” live and was waiting to see how people where finding it. I've made some further improvements to the weightings and Pedro De Souza is first now.

Crap, somehow yours didn't update @velkris I only initially checked a couple of people and they all looked good.

I've run an update now and you've moved up to first place. Let me spend some more time double checking before I congratulate you because i'm scared i've missed something else now.
