It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I have a problem with the part 2 of the megapack cut-out faces.
I can't extract it because it says there's an error with the 23032390.png faces. I tried to extract the rest without it but it didn't work, tried to re-download the pack several times, tried with 7-zip, winrar, but nothing works.
Do you have any solutions ?

Hi I am new to FM and I tried to downloaded a skin and installed it and everything worked perfectly fine but when I tried to download the cut out faces megapack (I did everything like in the youtube tutorial) something went wrong. When I try to unzip the file there is no iconfaces folder only the faces folder and it doesn't display the faces ingame either. (I tried to extract with 7Zip, Winrar)

I finally manage to extract it, i couldn't extract it directly in my “faces” file in FM 2023 , so i extracted it in another file outside of FM 2023, and then copied it in my "faces" file and it worked, ty for response anyway !

Hi everyone,
I've been a user of fm since 2015, so I'm quite used to downloading and installing packs etc. But, now I'm facing a whole new issue that I've never came across before. My player faces not working ANYMORE not even the black silhouette. I've tried several eventual solutions :
- Changed the fonts - Nothing changed
- Troubleshooted the FM files from steam - Nothing changed
- Tried to use the new config file in the last cut out update - Nothing changed
- Tried to clear FM cache - Nothing changed
- Re-installed the game - Nothing changed
The SI forums don't give any solution since it's an unofficial issue. I'm pretty sure it's not a config issue since cut outs have been working just one week ago so I played with it just fine since the launch of the game or even since the beta, everything used to work just fine (Even from FM16, never had any issue hhhh)

Oh my bad. Sorry about that, and thanks for the effort of at least posting it here. Yeah sure, but how can I show the “faces” folder that contains more than 14k pic ? can you be more specific ?

Reason I ask for a screenshot is so I can see if there are any sub-folders and if the full complement of images is in there. While I can't tell the former yet, I can definitely tell that you don't have the full megapack in there, which should have over 410k images, not just 14k.
Going by your download history, you seem to have downloaded all the update packs, but you don't seem to have installed it right, I'm afraid. My suggestion would be to remove what you have right now, and installed the base 2023.00 pack, then all the update packs in order.

earlier i was going to play with my save on FM23 and for some reason I've opened the Netherlands national teams, and i realize that the players are with a black silhouette instead the faces from facepack, even players that doesn't need the facepack (like Justin Bijlow that plays on Feyenoord)
than I try EVERYTHING to solve that, see many articles on forums that not helped me at all. And now, not only the Netherlands national players still with that silhouette, but regular players that were with faces from facepack before suddenly lost all faces. There is litterally nothing when I open the player interface. Pls someone help me

In your attempts to fix the Dutch face issue (when all you should have done was apply the real name fix), you seem to have completely messed up your files, but I have no idea what it is you might have doen.

Hi not really sure what doing and don't want to bother anyone. Have downloaded the cut out face pack and when I installed it onto game and reset skin only some of the faces came up and the rest were all blank. Not sure what i did wrong.

I updated a few kits yesterday and now after clearing cache and reloading skin some of my faces from face pack have disappeared, re-download whole face pack and same faces are missing, can anyone help please

Can you make a search in the graphics folder of the following UID: 29036189? It's Lewis Dunk's UID, who is one of the players whose iconface isn't showing.
Before you take a screenshot, can you post the results in the manner outlined below?
This can be achieved by posting the UID in the red circle, choosing the view tab via the blue circle, the details option in the black circle and making sure the folder column in the green circle is long enough to display the full path.
This will help me see if there is one or more other folders in your user data folder which contains one or more other facepacks, and if Dunk's image is actually in your files or not…
And can you please take an actual screenshot instead of a photo from your mobile? Here's how you can do that 👍

Hope that’s correct, however might be a problem with flut skin when switch to default faces all appear, but when go back to flut they don’t, going to try re-downloading flut and another skin, strange as havent touched flut skin for ages

It might well be a flut-related issue then.
Can you run the same search, using the same parameters, but changing the below search options?
