This is the final pack for FM23, as we start looking towards FM24. The next update pack will be 2024.00, ahead of the beta release of the game.

It is my intention to release v2024.00 around the middle of the month ahead of the release of the beta version of the game, uploading all the images by next weekend if possible.

It'd be great if the community could focus on cutting as many of the pending images as possible, especially those which are missing, so that they are added in the base megapack. Just giving cutters a heads-up so that they can aim to finish their pending packs and any pending requests they might have by that time.

I estimate it'll contain around 435,000 images, which is over 57,000 new images from 2023.00, which had just over 378,000. That's over 1,000 new images per week, let alone the thousands of improvements released during this period 👏

Going by some of the posts in this thread, it got updated at some point after the beta was launched. I think it was a few days later, if memory serves.

Closer to the time, I'll ask for volunteers to help me rename some of the no-ID images I have saved at my end, if that's what you're driving at 😉

Yeah, I've got a folder with un-cut images to go through as well when its updated. I can help you out as well.

Before you do, might as well have a look at what's been already cut and maybe save yourself some time 😉

Of course, but it'll take a little while to populate the teams, naturally. It might also be the case that the game includes cut-outs for these teams too, which will make the need that little less pressing.

Thanks for the heads-up - I think they're all oversights rather than being considered as improvements tbh 🍻

I have to ask when updating this lately increasingly older pictures are put in, why? there are newer ones out on most of the clubs pages.

(maybe it's just me who wants up-to-date images for my club/team/players/staff)

I also have to ask what images in particular you are referring to. I personally vet every improvement image to confirm they are better than what was in the megapack before. If a cutter included an image which is older than what was in the megapack before, naturally I have no way of checking that, as I don't have the time to check the sources for the thousands of cuts included in each update pack, so I assume the cutters did that themselves. Frankly, I don't think it's an issue at all, though naturally there may be the odd image here and there for which this might be an issue. “increasingly older pictures” is not something I would remotely agree with, however.

If you feel a cut in the megapack needs to be replaced, for whatever reason, you are free to provide a source image to be cut, or even cut it yourself.
