It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Hello everyone, I have a small problem here! I had this issue last year as well! I downloaded your facepack, but there are certain players who don't have their faces showing up in the game! For example, Yamal doesn't appear, but many other players do! I've created new config files using the XML program, but it remains the same. Does anyone know what might be the issue?!

This may be a dumb question, but I cannot find it anywhere so far. Does the face cutouts go in the graphics folder? I am assuming they do, but that is not working for me, going through the instructions though the graphics folder isn't mentioned and it is saying to drop it right in the Football Manager 24 folder I believe? If any one knows please help me out, I am a Mac user.

Yamal was only added in FM24, whereas the most recent update pack was released a week before the early access version dropped. He'll be added in 2024.01, don't worry.
However, Tomas Gonzalez is in the megapack, and has been for a while. Given you've created a new config file, I have no way of knowing whether the issue is located in the config, the amount of images in your megapack and your folder structure. Can I have screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder.

The 2024.00 version of the megapack has 435,000+ images, whereas you have “just” 391,000. Looks like you missed out on some update packs. My recommendation would be to delete what you have, and download and install the torrent file to be fully up-to-date.

Hi, I'm not sure how but my iconface folder only has 50k files in it even though my faces folder has 450k+. Is there a way to download just the iconfaces or am I going to have to do the whole download from scratch again?

It could be the file didn't install fully or that it didn't extract properly. There's not really any way of knowing. I'd download the whole thing again to be sure tbh…

I pasted both faces and iconfaces in graphics, but nothing happened…then deleted both faces and iconfaces from graphics, re-pasted only faces folder and now everything is working properly, so I'm confused, what iconfaces exactly does? Do I need to have that file?

Hi i Have both sortitoutsi faces and df11 faces downloaded packs I was wondering if I could put the sortitoutsi face in to the df11 face pack but not paste over any duplicate and just add the ones missing from the df pack with the sortitoutsi pack hopefully that makes sense

I've owned FM for years and never had a problem installing graphics packs before FM24 - but I just can't get it to work…
Skin setting are as per (and as I always have them)…
Graphic packs are saved to the right place (and have their config files)
I've uninstalled and reinstalled FM24 and Steam with no effect. I've also downloaded the graphic packs several times now…
I'm wondering if the file path is somehow wrong…? As another example the game won't let me upload a profile picture from the ‘Pictures’ folder (I get an error saying ‘Could not open the file’), but will upload it if I save it in my Downloads folder..!
Any help would be gratefully received, like I say I've never had a problem before and this is driving me nuts!
