It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Without seeing screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder, it's a bit hard to tell. However, I reckon you either haven't downloaded the full megapack or haven't installed it right. My suggestion would be to delete everything you have, and just download the torrent file.

Managed to download all 13 parts however I'm getting the following issue when trying to open the rar files on Mac:
No matter which file I try to unzip it will only extract part 1. So I've extracted part 12 fine but when I try to extract part 2 it again extracts part 1 leaving me with 2x part 1 files. Same issue occurs for all parts regardless of which I select.
Anyone having the same issue or know how to resolve?

Save all parts in the same folder. Use Winrar to extract part 1. It'll find the other parts automatically and extract the lot together.

I'm on mac so I don't have winrar. Not sure if it is possible to get a mac version? Though I do wonder if it is doing that anyway as when I've put the duplicate part in the bin there's over 800,000 files.

Some regens have been get real player faces, i checked the site and they where from people that where on previous games and have a clashing id with the newgen, is there a way to fix this besides removing the ids from the config file (which i've been doing and its really tedious). Thanks in advance.

it is an SI database problem not a mod problem though. So anything would just be work around until Si stops the bugs from happening

For context, the cut-out player pack that I have is all in the correct folder and it works. However, when I exit the game and load the game back up the player and logo packs that are installed won't load correctly into the game. I have to delete the packs and reinstall them before I play each time and that's quite tedious and annoying. I've downloaded the most recent files as well. I never had this issue with FM23 so any suggestions on what the problem is?

I downloaded the latest update which also gave me the same problem other people have had where there is an empty box for the face but no face.
I therefore deleted my entire facepack and reinstalled but the problem persists.
I notice that if I open the files in ‘photo viewer’ they are just blank - although they do open in paint.
Could it be an issue with the way the photos have zipped in recent update?

i am struggling to get the pack installed this year. When i unzip to my drive I get these errors and as you can see it's already at 15000 missed faces - that number just continues to climb. Any feedback or guidance would be super helpful!

Hi everyone - I’m having trouble with Yamal’s face not appearing in FM 2024. Does anyone know how to fix this? I followed the instructions correctly, and the file is in the “faces” folder, but it still doesn’t show up in the game. I have attached some screenshots for reference.
I also tried the “Reload skin when confirming changes” + Confirm option in Preferences multiple times, but nothing changed.
I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
UPDATE: [Resolved] Replacing the config.xml solved the issue.

Given the issue only happens to a few user, I would surmise it's an installation issue. Without seeing screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder, it's a bit hard to tell.
Do you have enough space in the D folder you're extracting it? I suggest extracting the file to a “temporary” folder, maybe within the H folder, then moving it lock, stock to the D folder whence the game user data folder seems to be located.

I have the same pack downloaded to both my pc and mac. I'm playing the same cloud save on both, but in my PC game there is no face for Mikey Moore, Ethan Nwaneri, and several other youngsters. My Mac version has them.
Can you help guide me in what the difference could be?

Did you download the pack separately on your PC and your Mac? It might be the case you might not have the full pack on both systems.

Hi wonder if anyone can help I have downloaded the mega pack (not the update) and when I go to paste the icons/faces into the relevant folder it says it going to more than one day I left it doing its thing over night from starting it about 1400 and it wasn't anywhere near done…..Please advise!

If it didn't contain the config file, then it most probably wasn't the full megapack. You can generate one yourself for the images you have at your end by using fmXML (use the site's search function to download it 👍 )

I got a new Macbook but I can't open the 2024.00 full faces folder it keeps loading I've waited for a couple of minutes but I think there are too many files. Is there a way to update the pack without opening the map?

I've tried reinstall the game, redownloaded the whole face Megapack. Clean all the cache and refresh the skin and graphics.

Thanks for replying I found that there are only 8490 files in the faces folder and the paths are the screenshots above.
I have extracted the whole Megapack full waiting for almost two days without errors. Can you recommend a extract tool faster or good to use for Mac.
