It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Hello!
I have just downloaded the sortitoutsi cutout megapack for fm 24 and after having uziped the file and put it in the graphics folder I get stuck in the opening loading screen when I launch FM24.
Can someone please help me with this issue, would be immensely greatful.

The first time you install the file, it will generally take a fair while to load. Might even take a somewhat long time on older or slower systems. But it should be fine from that point on 👍

New update seems to have fixed regens using id's from real players that weren't loaded in the save, they now have an r- before their ID

a quick fix for the new ids is to go to your config that has the newgens and use “find and replace”.
Replace “person/” with “person/r-” and the faces will load again

Looking for some help, I have paid the £10 and tried to download the complete cut out players faces facepack, I have enough space on my laptop, but when i click the download button nothing happens? It's not going into my downloads. - Any suggestions?

I have but in the process of downloading the face pack from winrar to shared folder graphics within football manager folder.
issue i got got like 2 hours left but cant see a config file or icons within it. Just faces?

for some reason, my FM is now just stuck on the loading screen.

hi there, I've just downloaded the 2024.02 cut out player faces update file (https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/1/download) but their doesn't appear to be a config file in the faces folder, only in the iconfaces folder.
Also same issue when downloading the AFC Ajax pack here, no config file: https://sortitoutsi.net/content/24805/afc-ajax

I believe referees will be updated on the site's database in the next couple of weeks when the data update comes on board. Until then, you'll just have to wait 👍
You must not have downloaded the file correctly. I've downloaded it again now, and the config file is there just fine in the faces folder 😕
The Ajax pack you've linked to is from 2015. I don't know what you're doing downloading it, frankly, when all those images have been replaced many times over since then 😕

I ve invested several hours to download all 13 parts of the cut out player faces pack, but unluckily it appears that not all of them are included in the download. Every time I unpack the downloads, not all faces were there. (f.I. in part 6, there only is 1 image). Anyone else had the same problem or anyone who knows how comes?

Hey! Today I downloaded the cut out player faces pack. I tried to open the rar version of the data twice, extracted it twice, but in the end, the folder with the images just disappeared. Anyone out there, who knows, why this happens? In the middle of the download I got some messages popping up, saying that some images weren't written correctly. Could that be the reason for the problem?

Are you sure you have sufficient hard drive space for its extraction? You'll need a significant amount of disk space, around 15-20GB iirc.
How large is the file you've downloaded? It could also be that it hasn't downloaded correctly or completely, and you're trying to extract a file which isn't completely downloaded yet.
Also, as stated previously, there is no need to start a new thread with your every question. I've been moving them here, but from now on, if you ignore this, I'll just delete them.

Hey Fm-mates, I tried to download the Cutout Pf. Pack recently. Worked fine. After that i extracted the files, but my pc always told me that a great amount of files in the torrent file aren‘t „written correctly“. After the extraction process has been finished, the finished folder has just been deleted.

Now I got just one final question … what to do with the changed folders? Should i just put it into the graphics folder or do I need to copy it into the Main Player Faces folder?

I want to update the facepack but I can't open the folder, I asked it before but maye it wasn't clear. The folder tries to load forever and just crashes. Is there anyway to update it without having to open the folder? Or is there a way to get it loading?

I ve just downloaded faces megapack, all 13 parts + 2 with changes. I Installed it, all went propely but I have immpression that i dont have all photos. For example i have invisible photo o Y.Lamal from Barcelona, and other younger players, but when i browsing filile that fotos ale inculded inside pack. Sometimes i have older version of photos ( or the same like in fm 23) despite the fact there ale newer available.
Does enyone have the same problem or know how to fix it ?
