It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

No, all images will display in existing careers; no need to start a new game, as with all graphics.

Strange. I have been testing. It isn’t appear on the game. I was browsing the faces on update pack files with ID number without names but I manage to get names through editor. That’s why I thought it’s require a new save but you said it isn’t. Or I need a bigger database by custom it? I usually go for large database for new saves.

The images definitely appear in existing save games, you may not have installed them right. Also, are your in-game skin preferences as per the installation instructions? Screenshots please.

All I did was download the latest update changes. Once extracted, copied and paste it to megapack folder. On the game, clear the cache and reload the skin.

Will get back to you. for example, I was looking for any players on the update pack and check the names by type their ID on editor. Once I got the name and went to my existing save and type it on search and it isn’t appear at the end but I will check it again at later and get back to you. Thanks.

Not every player in the megapack will be present in your career 😕 There are lower-league players from the most obscure countries.
But every player in the megapack who is present in your career should have his image showing.
It would be great if you could provide more information at the outset next time to avoid this futile to-ing and fro-ing.

I have done everything in videos on youtube but no faces appear in my game how hard is it doing my tree in now.
Any suggestions or a good step by step tutorial . I have unzipped the files put the files in my editor folder start the game -preferences- re-load skin with tick but to no avail.

Why do you mention the editor folder? Which one's that, and what does it have to do with this megapack? Going by your download history, you only have the 2023 base version of this pack. There have been 19 update packs released since then. I suggest downloading the 2024 torrent and the 3 update packs released since then.
Anyway, in order to perhaps manage to see what you've done wrong, can I please have screenshots of:
a) your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder
b) your in-game preferences?
There are installation instructions and a video tutorial in the main post already, so not sure what value there is in taking the time to write you another one tbh 😕

@coffee cup, you have 23k images. The full megapack has 450k. I suggest downloading the 2024 torrent and the 3 update packs released since then.
And have a look at the FAQ on how to install update packs. The way you've done it isn't correct. All the faces should be in just one folder.

I have explained specifically. I have repeated that faces isnt appearing on the game. I want all faces from update pack on the game and how can I make it happens? But now you said every player in megapack will be not present in my career so there is other way is set up a huge database and that way I can have all players apparently.

For example:
1st Picture: i have highlighted the face with Unique ID number from update pack folder
2nd Picture: i typed the number on editor in order to get a name.
On the game, i typed the name on search box and not to be found.
Hope you understand now. Also i recognize same faces on update pack and its there on the game but most faces are unknown as you said they are playing in such lower league division.

I'm still not sure what you're attempting to achieve, though. Do you want to see if all 6,500+ cuts in the megapack are in your career? If yes, why? Shouldn't you just play the game, and see people's cut-outs while you're playing?

I just want to see all the faces on games that’s all as I keep told you but it’s fine actually. Would be good to have all faces but not priority. Most faces are unheard of anyway. But tell me if I’m correct which is if I want all of it (6,500) and only way is having a large database by custom it. I saw it on YouTube about how to have all of players.

You haven't explained it at all well, I'm afraid. At first, in fact, I thought you were trying to say that there were cuts in the megapack who weren't showing when you check a person's profile in-game. If the person isn't in the game, it has got nothing at all to do with the cut-out megapack itself, and everything to do with the set-up of the database in your career.
I don't think you'd get all 400k+ players in your career unless you load all the players at all the clubs by using a custom database and loading all players from all continents. Why you'd want to do that is beyond me. If you're at Man Utd/Barcelona/Bayern, there's no point in loading up Nicaraguan lower league teams' youth players, is there? Up to you if you want to slow down your save that much by loading such a large database, naturally, but frankly it's got nothing to do with this pack at all. Happy gaming, nonetheless 🙂
