It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Short version:
If you have two copies and the facepack, they will conflict and not show any photos at all.
Long version:
So I have same issue as Ali posted, updated the facepack by adding the latest files. And all photos went missing in the game,
After doing the usual fixes, veriying files, clearing in game cached etc, without improvment, I suspected the config could be the issus and copied the old one back. Did not work. I deleted the facepackfolder. rebooted the computer and redownloaded the entire facepack. Same issue.
In case there was a problem with the facepack or download I deleted everything again and installed the old files before I updated. Still no faces.
So next step, deleted the entire game and all game files, including the appdata cache and all mod. Had a very clean install. Still did not work,
At this point I was rather annoyed, Went back to the folders and noticed I had put a backup of the config.xml in the root of the grafics folder. Not having two version of the same config.xml conflicting solved this issue.
I am a computer engineer that had been playing FM for 25+ years and never had this much trouble. And I caused it myself. =)
That said, this facepack is really good and I have used it for many years. Thank you!

@mons Some files you upload are corrupt in some way (corrupt might not be the right word, but the resizing program can't edit them) it's usually only a couple.
Unfortunately it's not giving me a great error message to try and debug from but I imagine they just need to be reopened and resaved.

I can see why the .PNG ones and the .webp one didn't save properly, but plenty of those were in update packs from the past, like this one. I'll have a look at the lot and resave them if need be for addition in 2023.04 👍

Sorry you can ignore all the capitalised ones, in that case it seems like there's somehow a capitalised one and uncapitalised one and the capitalised one is missing an iconface which doesn't matter.
I can remove the duped capitalised versions.

Hi All,
After a couple computer issues i'm having to re-download the .zip files for all graphics
Problem is for some reason when i come to extract the downloaded .zip file this time i get an error message stating “no description” … Anyone have any ideas why i can't extract them this time when i have been able to extract them previously? I'm lost!
If it helps this is happening with the Steal Logo's and the full Cutout Player Faces .zip's

Good spot, seems like the uploader of that image made a mistake and assigned the image to the wrong player. If you've overwritten it already, you can save the old cut from the guy's timeline 👍

b) Save this image in your faces folder, overwriting the existing cut if prompted
c) It's not entirely clear what you're asking but I won't imagine there will be more instances like this where the wrong image was added by mistake. With 6,500 cut+, I cannot guarantee that, naturally.

I wanted to say that I have always said yes, for example if the file was "2000310023.png" the same as the same update, so if there were errors in the smileys I didn't make any changes to whether the person was the same or not, it was just a coincidence that it happened to me, to see otherwise I would have to start again from 0 to see if the smileys are the same or not in the new updates if I had to do it I would have to waste a lot of time and I don't feel like it already sometimes I do it with the team logos of course if I have to doing it with the smileys of which there are millions would go crazy

Hi, I've tried everything now but nothing works. I have installed Cutout and placed it in the Graphics folder (in a subfolder called "faces" which contains "faces" and "iconfaces"). in settings in the game i also checked the right box but now ALL the faces in the game are gone... they were there before i updated with sortitout's data update. What can I do?
