It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I had this yesterday setting up FM24 on a brand new laptop. Make sure you are extracting the file with winRAR!! Don't just right click the file and extract all, you have to scroll down to where it says winrar, then extract all through there. If you don't have winrar installed, you'll have to download it

Is it possible to also download previous versions of the "iconfaces" image through one of the pages of the site? On the site I only see the currently active image and the archive of previous cut-outs, but I can't find the iconfaces archive.

Nothing really important, it is only a graphic "whim" 😉. Sometimes I happen to restore cut-outs of previous versions since it can be found very quickly on the site, but in this screen (and I only believe in this)
when clicking with the right button on a person's profile appears to be the image Icon that clearly appears to be the most recent.
Alternatively, however, the information on when the cut-out was added, in such a way as to go to look for it in that update.

Hi all. I have successfully downloaded, extracted and added lots of graphics packs into my FM24 but for some reason the cut out face mega pack doesn't seem to unzip. I am using WinZip on a MacBook, the file is there and then it just says that WinZip is busy and nothing happens.
I have over 50GB on the hard drive and even tried putting it to an external hard drive with over 1TB of space in case that was the issue. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get this file extracted correctly?

Hello all. I have downloaded, extracted, cut and pasted, and followed all the instructions in the videos, and the facepack still won't show up for me. Files are pasted in Graphics-Faces (and Iconfaces as a separate folder). I've un-checked cache pages and made sure to click rebuild skin. I've cleared cache. I've done it all. I am about to chuck my laptop through a window and ask for my money back from this site because the damn thing I paid for won't work.
Playing on Steam if that makes a difference. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to add facepacks for fm16, but the 2024 pack won't work. All of the images show some graphical glitch. Is there a way to get fm 2016 facepack cutouts? I use to have the file (last year), but I can't find it anymore and I don't really like the DF11 versions. Please help if you can, Thanks.

It's a known issue due to the way cuts are compressed in the megapack from a few years back, as per the FAQ. There's a link to that year's torrent file in the FAQ, but I doubt how many seeds there are for it, given it's 8 years old…

The megapacks, as per the bit at the top of this page, has over 470,000 images. You have more than 400,000 missing images.
My suggestion is to delete your entire faces folder and apply the megapack base file from scratch, as well as all update packs.

Hello everyone, i have a problem that i'm trying to fix for the last 3 days and i'm out of options, i hope you guys can help me with this.
So i downloaded the megapack for the cutout faces and the updates till the 10th and i've put it in graphics folder in documents/sportinteractive etc etc… but some faces are loaded and some are not. Config file is there and i'm sure that id players too. IE: Francesco totti face shows up and even if i change the image with an older one from previous versions,it changes the image in the game with no problem. But James Rodriguez is not shown,even if image.png is in the folder and in the config file aswell. But there are a lot of faces that are not shown , even if they are in the folder and config file. So what i don't understand is why totti face is OK and rodriguez is not. I want to point out that i'm playing with FM08. Full path:C:\Users\User_Name\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\sortitoutsi\faces

At that time, the game didn't recognise folders with that many images. iirc the maximum was 50k per folder.
What you need to do is to create however many folders and include less than 50k images in each, then generate a config file for each folder using fmXML.
