It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Turning off the anti virus did the trick! Another question though. I downloaded all 13 parts of the original file and tried installing it before downloading the updates. Nothing showed up in the face folder, how could that be?

It's not really an issue that's been raised before, so it looks like something is not going right at your end - but I don't have enough info to ascertain what it could be.
Here's the torrent file, but don't be surprised if there aren't any seeds for it - it's a 12-year old file, after all.

Can't get it to work. What kind of info do you need? I've downloaded all parts, I extract the last one, part 13, but it's only 60 000 and not 475 000 and the folder faces is empty. If its extracting I've done it correctly, right?

Of course... Part 13 is 1 of the 13 parts of the pack. That's why it's 60,000 in Part 13 of the whole 475,000.
Hope I'm not mistaken about what happened:
You don't just extract Part 13. You need all the 13 parts ready (in the same folder), and then extract the first one. The program (e.g. WinRAR, 7-Zip,…) will take care of the rest, i.e. extracts from Part 1, then picks up Part 2 automatically, and so on.
It's like… watching a drama series. The story doesn't make sense if you start watching episode 13 first.

Hi guys,
I have a problem with downloading the packs, which is weird because i didn't have any problems in the past with this.
So, i started FM15 and i have every single pack from then until 12.13. I now wanted to download some packs to complete the collection and to fill in a lot of gaps for FM24.
When i click update file (fe: 12.14 / 12.15) and then on link to dfiles there is no link. This is the first problem.
When i finally found one 22.00 which has a link, i clicked regular download. After waiting a minute, there is no pup up or link to download the file, even more, i get all shady messages from websites that are really unsafe in my eyes.
where in the past i just clicked “download” i get the downloadlink and the file started downloading. Now, i can't get it going.
this leads me to two questions:
I really hope you guys can help me in getting a good download link, because i really liked this kind of pictures and have collected them for a long time.

Buddy, you're looking to download files from 9 or 10 years ago, so it's no wonder they might no longer be available.
If you want to play FM15, I suggest downloading the 8.00 torrent pack from here. It's for FM16 and will include all the images included in update packs for FM15. There are links to the torrent versions of the base megapack available in point 12 of the main post in this thread, if you want to get something more up-to-date. The further back you go, the less likely it is that you'll find seeds for them.

I Think my english was not good enough, it is not what i meant to say.
I have FM 24 now. Last version of FM was FM21. I download almost all packs+updates, from FM 15 up to FM21 (the FM15 pach at that time (8.00) and every update to update 12.13). I have all those pictures.
I wanted to download the packs from 12.14 on, to get a complete version for FM24. I see the downloads for update12.14, 12.15 have no link.
My question is for FM24:
Is it necessary to download every pack form my last downloaded pack (every update since 12.13) to 24.00 or is it okay/possible for FM 24 to just download the 24.00 version and updates ?
Second question: the dfiles site, i can click regular download, but it gives not a donwload. It just counts down from 60 till 0, but after that nothing is happening, and everything i click on that site gives pop up screens from shady businesses. And that surprises me a bit because i never had any problems with downloading every packs since 2015.
I hope my english and explanation are clearer now.

Can anyone help me with this? Maybe @mons ? Never had a problem in all the years I've been using this facepack but, for some reason, all photos are either a) the standard ones which come with the game or b) like this below (FYI, the facepack was working fine last night when I last played):

Going by the date modified of your faces folder, you changed something in it yesterday afternoon. Do you have 475k images in it plus a config.xml file?

The changes were me replacing 2 of the faces in the pack with older ones from here , that I thought were better.

Is the black outline figure shown in my previous post the default one where there is no photo? I haven't downloaded anything for that, so I'm wondering if that's somehow overwriting everything?

Yeah, that black outline is shown in instances where the game doesn't find a line in a config file tied to a particular UID.
Did you edit the config file at all? All seems fine otherwise, I have to say.

I'm an idiot. The only change I made was downloading the Chelsea 24/25 facepack….for - literally - the first time ever, I've included the config file by mistake when moving it over.
Do I need to download the whole megapack again to get the config file?
