It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I'm aware of the problems with FM26 and graphics packs… we are trying to work out how to deal with that in the metallic logo project (it is a mess 🙄)
As long as they are part of the update files then it is working for me since a have the complete pack.
I would also like to point out that is much easier for FM26 players to not extract (or delete) the iconfaces than it is for me (other fm24 players) to set up a action file in photoshop to convert faces into iconfaces for each update 🙂

If it still doesn't work, provide us with screenshots of your faces installation folder, showing clearly the full path and the amount of images contained within it.
Yeah, I know what you mean. The best way is to have it as a separate download for now until it is fixed tbh.

I downloaded the new update pack and its letting me search files now. I'll delete the icon faces folder and see if the face pack works now

You seem to have the file installed in the right place, and there is also a config file, which is all fine.
The only thing I can think of is that you have another facepack installed somewhere within the graphics path. Can you give me a screenshot of what you have in there?

Hi I'm still having the same issues mentioned by others above. Team badges and player faces are blurry I am also experiencing the grey line at the top of the faces too. Does anyone know a fix for this or is it an in game issue and I've just got to deal with it for now?

ive downloaded the “complete pack 2026.01” extracted it to the graphics folder and everything is working fine and today i downloaded the “fm26 new palyers megapack” but i dont get it to work -_- where do i have to put this in? i was copy paste the faces in to the other folder and overwrite it but those doesnt show.

hello ,thanks for the work , but I don't understand how to use Facepack for New Wonderkids. I have New Wonderkids, and the FM26 Cut-Out Player Faces Facepack work fine, but this one doesn't. I added them to faces folder and replaced the config file, but even then, I can't get the faces of these players to appear.

I can't see much wrong in that screenshot when it comes to badges, but they're nothing to do with this megapack.
As for player faces, it seems to be a game thing, and not much to do with the faces themselves.
I'm not sure if you're referring to the same file, but it's separate to the full cut-out faces megapack and it should be placed in a completely separate folder. If you've edited the config file, then the cut-out megapack faces might not display. Get the most recent config from the 2026.01 update pack, and replace what you have now.

thanks , but i use the last 2026.01 update pack and i have tried in a separate folder and in same folder , but I checked several of the players included in the Facepack for New Wonderkids for FM24 It doesn't work for any of them. I deleted all the contents in the graphics folder and replaced everything with the latest facepack content (FM26 Cut-Out Player Faces Facepack : this one work ,FM24 New Players Megapack : not work for me) today after installing the latest Data Update

@Footygamer I paid for premium membership to download face cut out pack in 25 mins instead of 5 hours however after purchase, nothing changed and now having to wait the 5 hours anyway and when i click “fast download” it takes me to the £10 sign up paywall, Is there any way of a refund or something like that as im just going to wait now.
