My payment was taken via pay pal for £10 on the 29th of October but site still wants me to pay again for data downloads

There are two different paid products that can be purchased through the site. One is the Premium Membership (which is what you have already subscribed to/have an active subscription to) and the other is the Enhanced Data Update.
Just to clarify the content/distinction:
The Premium Membership gives access to faster downloads from our servers rather than having to use free mirrors.
The Enhanced Data Update is a version of the Data Update that includes everything the free version does, plus updated CA/PA values for many players, as well as providing an updated file every 20 minutes (i.e. near-real-time) which includes some dynamism between instances to keep things fresh in-game. By comparison, the free version releases once a day.
You will be able to see the status of your subscriptions via https://sortitoutsi.net/shop, on which page the distinction between the two products is also presented.
Therefore, I would expect you to get prompted for payment when attempting to access the Enhanced Data Update (in reality, when you go to the main https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update page, it'll present options for payment, but you can scroll past those and select the free one). You should not be getting prompted for payment when downloading graphics megapacks and similar - these should automatically be downloaded via the direct, faster servers.
If this latter situation is prompting you, please do let us know by replying and confirming exactly which content is prompting this - as that would be a bug. However it is correct that you are presented an option to pay when going to the Data Update page - as you currently do not have an active Data Update subscription (it expired on 1st November 2025).
Just to confirm: each product independently has a cost of £10 for a year, which is charged as a single payment and then provides access for a full 12-month period. It will renew unless set to cancelled. Appreciate it can be a bit confusing especially as they both have the same cost.

Dear SortItOutSi Support,
I am writing to request a refund due to ongoing issues with the files I have downloaded, along with concerns about the premium membership.
A few weeks ago, I reported that the LogoPack I was trying to use where working. I have continued trying to resolve the issues on my end but the problems remain, the files do not function correctly in-game. For example team logos may appear, but league table logos remain unchanged, and when starting a save or viewing detailed club information, many logos do not update. This inconsistency makes the packs unusable for me.
In addition to this, I have also been experiencing issues with the face packs (regen) When attempting to extract them, the extraction process stops after only 2–3 folders and then returns an error, preventing me from installing or using the content at all.
I also raised concerns a few weeks ago regarding the premium membership feeling misleading. After attempting to make use of it, I feel the membership is not beneficial to me and does not match what I expected from the service.
Because of the non-functional LogoPacks, the facepack extraction errors, and the misleading nature of the premium membership, I kindly request a refund for the recent charges.

Hi all
Sorry If I'm missing something but I just purchased the premium membership to download the FM24 database update pack.
Now when I go to download the face pack it's prompting me to purchased the membership again?
Is there something I am missing or is it just a time lag issue and I have to wait for the membership to be assigned to my profile?

@pickledash sorry for the confusion these are two separate products as shown here, I hoped it would be clear by the fact that they're displayed differently in two different sections of the website but a few people have reported being confused so i'm working to try and make it clearer

ahh ok, I think it's because I accessed it through the FM24 Data update on the sidebar on the left hand side, and on the detail on that web page it just mentioned premium membership purchase so assumed it was an all in one package.
if that's any feedback to make it clearer, I'd perhaps put something relating to it not being the premium site wide membership before proceeding with it.

Edit: I also have not used the site for a long time and just forgot I even subscribed. I will probably use it more until FM26 gets a lot better or until FM27.

HI @Footygamer, my premium membership auto-renewed today (December 27, 2025) and charged my PayPal about an hour ago, but I had completely forgotten to cancel it beforehand and no longer need/want the subscription this year. We only issues refunds for people who haven't used the service because they forgot to cancel.
The service is “faster downloads from our premium servers” you made the downloads from our servers therefore we incurred the associated costs.
I don't think it's reasonable to refund everyone who is unhappy with the current state of FM26 itself

I've paid for the subscription so I can download the enhanced FM24 database, but I cannot download it, as it's still asking me to pay. Is there anything else I need to do after paying for the subscription?

Hi @stefan reece it looks like it was stuck, if you had gone to ⚙️ > Shop Orders you would have seen a refresh button (i've pressed it now, so no need for you to).
I see you've since signed up again, i've refunded the second payment.
