That's wireless connection, I've got about 70mb on the landline downstairs. Though Virgin Media does up to 100mb (mostly 70-80mb on the fibre optic round here).
Anyone elses?

Amazing the difference a minute makes.

Dunno what this means, I'm just gonna compare with you lot.
Wait, why is my server London?
smurphptfc
Done it twice. Once a minute ago and once about two hours ago - same result pretty much. This is with wireless. I'm going to use the Ethernet cable later on and see what I can get. I don't know why I'm in London either, though. I selected Edinbra'.
The thing is, my mate did it once and he was getting like 60mbs for download speed - but I don't consider mine as slow, though I don't really download anything. Is there really that much of a difference?
Jason
Yeah, obviously 51MB difference, although, unless you download large files, you won't notice a difference.
Jason
At least your ISP gets a 4 and a half star, for providing shit internet
Bian
Wow. I thought mine was bad. How do you live with that speed?
Tommo.
Does not really affect me. Browsing speed (Bar last 2 days) is fine and get minimal lag on PS3. Only time im notice is is when downloading a film or something but its managable

Takes me either 1 or 2 hours cant remember to download a SNL episode which is between 600-700mb. I download a fair bit I just cant download as much :L The only way to improve it is to move really. No matter waht provider I have its bad where I live. Cant even get Virgin tv or internet

Not that Speedtest is all that reliable..

Would be about 10-15 Mbit faster if it wasn't for us running our TV through the broadband.

My pal across the road has Infinity and gets 75/18 speeds though

Been thinking of upgrading to their 75mb fibre package, but its obviously slightly dearer (£15 a month more) and its awkward atm having anyone in during the day for them to come in and set it up. Though i would get 'expected' speeds of 64mb d/l and 18mb u/l.
Carroll.
Im changing provider tomorrow though so will post it after that.
