⚽ Ultimate Matchball Megapack – FM24 / FM26
Hello FM Community!
I’m proud to present my Ultimate Matchball Megapack for Football Manager 2024–2026, featuring 130+ custom 3D matchballs designed to enhance realism and immersion in your saves.
This megapack includes a wide variety of competition-specific matchballs, complete with winter versions and special knockout-stage designs for major tournaments — giving decisive matches the atmosphere they deserve.

All textures are HD wherever possible.

This project builds upon the fantastic work of @bartdude and @JakDevlin , whose original 3D Balls Match Pack inspired this expansion.
I’ve refined, updated, and extended their work with additional leagues, details, and variations.

This megapack is a community-driven effort — feedback, suggestions, and requests are always appreciated!
🔧 Installation Instructions
Download the megapack file.
Extract the balls zip file.
Move the balls folder to:
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 20XX\graphics\
(Create any missing folders if necessary and overwrite all the existing files.)
Restart Football Manager (FM26).
If playing on FM24, reload your skin.
⚠️ Important – Clean Installation Required
Please make a clean installation by deleting your old balls folder before extracting this new version.
Starting from this release, the pack uses a new folder structure, organised by continents and nations, with subfolders for better organisation and easier future updates.
Keeping old files may cause conflicts or prevent certain balls from loading correctly.
🔁 Alternative & Brands Folder Instructions
If you want to use a ball inside the alt or brands folder:
Rename the original ball by adding -OLD at the end
(Example: ENG-premierleague → ENG-premierleague-OLD)
Copy the new ball into the appropriate folder
Rename it with the original file name
(Example: ENG-premierleague)
If you want to use a clubs or nations ball inside the 0-Generic Balls folder, simply rename the xml file from config_alt.xml to config.xml
🎮 FM26 Users
For an even better experience in some top-tier leagues, it is possible to use the balls included in the “FM26 3D Stadium Megapack” made by @BassyBoyYT .
⚠️ Important Notice
This megapack is and will always remain completely free.
Recently, I’ve been informed that some people are redistributing this pack while asking money for access. Please note that this project is shared freely with the community and must never be sold, monetized, or placed behind any kind of paywall.
A huge amount of time, research, and passion goes into creating and maintaining these matchballs. I do this for the community and for the love of the game.
Starting from this version, small and almost invisible details have been embedded within some files. These will help me identify unauthorized redistributions if necessary.

While many balls have been tested in-game, I haven’t had the chance to test every single one.

Apparent 26/27 Champions League Ball (league phase)
Sorry but this design just reeks of Woke nonsense to me and the Premier League ball is not much better.
(just my opinion)

Friends, what's the ID for International Friendly Game? The ball doesn't change. It needs to be written into the config, but I don't know how to view the ID.

If you need help to make 3d ball, you can count on me. Every season i've made the 3d balls for 10 leagues of Europe, Argentina and Brazil. And 3d balls of europeans challenges and south america.
This year I've made turkey super league, 3 liga of German, vanarama national league of england, second division of holland, serie b of italy and brazil, rfef from spain..

Did you check it yourself? If you want to help, then check and help. I know how to enable ID; I'm kind of supporting my skin here. I don't see how to access it. Probably because I play very little.

It's in the settings → preferences → Detailed → Audio & Visual → Show Screen IDs…..
choose random national team look at their calendar for friendly match and click that “Friendly” competition
Voila… the ID is there…. It's not that hard to find…

@Momolisa82 If you want to use a ball for another competition you can follow these steps:

ENG-premierleague)The balls included in the BassyBoy Stadium files are far better in-game, as they're actual 3D models.
This pack was originally made for older versions of FM and simply uses static images of each match ball. It can still be useful, though, as it covers competitions that don't have an official match ball included in the mod.
Whenever a 3D ball is available, the BassyBoy Stadium files should automatically override this pack, so you'll only see these balls where no dedicated 3D model exists.
@mattyboi23 Yes, I'll try to add more generic balls in this weekend's update. I'm also thinking about including a few classic World Cup balls.

@lembergman @RisingStarKiller Thanks for the ID. There are a few more for international friendlies, including youth and women's national teams. I'm going to add them all in this weekend's update.

I tried to change LaLiga ball and didnt work. Probably because BassyBoy mod has priority. Do you guys have a list of wich competitions Bassy's mod covers?

@BabaYaga89 I was looking at the config for nation balls (e.g. Argentina, Mexico etc.) - How does this differentiate between a competition with the same UID as the nation because the paths look identical?
e.g. this:

would technically point to the Campeonato Piauiense Sub-20 which is the competition with the UID 116
or am I being dense and missing something?

I did a couple of tests, and you were right. Starting from FM24, ID conflicts can occur, with competition IDs taking priority over national team IDs.
I'll remove the config file and keep only the PNG files in the folder, so anyone who wants to use them can simply rename them and assign them to the competitions they want.

Maybe there's a different suffix for the national team balls…. e.g. nation/<uid>/balls or balls/<uid>/nation or something like that

For example, if Argentina is playing a friendly or a World Cup match, the competition's match ball would probably override the national team's one.
