It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

ive downloaded the updates (5.01 - 5.07) to the faces megapack 5.0. now how should i incorporate them with existing megapack i.e. is the 5.0?

Just paste them INTO the base megapack folder, starting with 5.01 and continuing till 5.07, overwriting when prompted.

Some files in the icon pack are missing in the main pack. I've downloaded some of these files from the pictures search tool, but there is a list of missing files both form megapack & search tool.

No mate, I used JDownload and those files are missing, trust me.
I used Winmerge only to show the ids and to compare folders (faces 5.07 with iconfaces 5.07), no matter the language.

What's the total amount of images in your MP icon folder?

I've never really had any experience in imagine cutting in Photoshop before but if anybody can link me to any decent guides out there I'd be more than happy to pick up the ropes and help out due to everything this site has done to enhance FM for me in the past.

edit: im confused now..i didnt realized there was a torrent file at the bottom of the page..i clicked on "download the megapack 5.08" and then downloaded all those single files (22 of them)..do i still need to download the torrent file?

I recently downloaded the France U19 facepack, and for a few hours or so it was showing in-game. However, now, a few days later, all the faces I've downloaded over the last few days are showing except the French U19 players.
I don't know what I've done wrong, I've put all of them in the graphics folder, (I actually extract all the faces I download to the single megapack folder so they're all together) I've used fmxml to add a new config file with all of their IDs, but those few players still aren't showing.
Any ideas? Anybody experienced something similar?
P.S. I've put my iconfaces folder in the same folder, but that shouldn't disrupt anything should it? (see attached screens)

I have the 116k files (didn`t get time to get the rest of the updates), I have the xml file that has the size of 8.9 mb
At the interface area I unthicked Use catching to decrease and I checked Reload skin
I am using win 7 and the game is through steam if that helps...
So any tips, am I doing something wrong ? Thank you for your help.

To clarify: For non-premium members, there's 2 ways to download the megapack; (a) download the torrent file and then download update packs 5.01-5.08 or (b) download the 22 individual files. The end result will be the same.
With each method you will need to extract all the download files using winrar and then place all the images in one folder and one folder only within the path indicated in the readme file.
The location seems to be correct.
How many images in all do you have in your cut-out faces megapack folder? Do you have a file named config.xml in there?
Where are you placing it?
Doesn't make a difference as long as it's within Documents > SI > FM13 > graphics. To keep things organized and in order I recommend that you create a further sub-folder (name it faces, cut-out megapack or whatever you want) and place the megapack in there.
Try toggling the use skin cache option (or whatever's its equivalent is named these days) in the in-game preferences on and off, confirming the changes each time.
There must be something wrong with your setup although everything you describe seems to be in order. Do you have any other facepacks installed perhaps?

Update: It turns out that when I access these players' profiles from their club squad pages, the faces appear perfectly. However, if I try to access them through France U19 squad page, they don't appear.
Some examples of the players are: Opa Nguette, Benjamin Mendy, etc. if you want to see if the same is happening for you in your save.
I don't know what it could be, though; I'm hardly a computer noob lol, I should've worked it out by now...

Got it! It's a licensing issue and can be easily solved by downloading (and applying) the FM13 real names fix file from the FM discussion forum...
Are you using Windows 7? Windows 7 creates 2 Sports Interactive folders within Documents (for some unfathomable reason) and it could be you placed the graphics folder in the wrong one.
If that's not the solution, I would appreciate seeing a screenshot of your MP folder, with the folder path clearly visible.

Secondly, and more crucially, there's only 13557 files in the MP folder so you are missing over 90% of the total MP image count so no wonder you're not getting anything. Either you transfer the whole lot from your D folder, or you re-download everything all over again...
