'The banner is staying' or stuff to that effect.

It won't be that boring, surely?

I'm guessing some 'inside knowledge' that the board are losing faith or something along those lines.

Mike Keegan from MEN: "Led to believe last night's pasting has not changed anything with regards to Glazers and Moyes' position. Still has backing. #mufc"

They're hardly likely to self embargo when they have something of note, why would they let someone get in before them?

Manchester United considering Moyes replacements

Manchester United's senior hierarchy is “evaluating all possibilities” as it attempts to arrest the club's steep descent under David Moyes. Contrary to public statements that Sir Alex Ferguson's successor will definitely be granted at least a second season as manager, Moyes' dismissal is prominent among those possibilities.

Though Tuesday's humiliating 3-0 home loss to Manchester City ensured that United's first post-Ferguson season is statistically the club's worst in the Premier League era, the review of potential candidates to replace Moyes should not be regarded as a knee-jerk reaction.

Key decision-makers within the Old Trafford board have been assessing potential replacements as manager for several weeks and further talks are planned.

Ogden, too.

The guardian article which disagrees with those two has an interesting line about 'the end of the season'.

In the summer you can get someone like Van Gaal or Simeone.

There's loads of managers that could be possible in the summer. Van Gaal, Simone, Klopp, Low.

And that's only looking at the top, top managers. There's probably about 50 managers (and that's very generous) who could do better than Moyes.

I'd love Klopp but he seems pretty a pretty loyal guy. Similarly with Simeone, will he really wanna leave after such a successful season? especially coming somewhere where they'd have a pretty substantial rebuild

What makes people think that Simeone and Klopp will be available?

Klopp may be having a poor season, but it doesn't necessarily mean that he'll jump ship - heck, he's repeatedly pointed to the fact that he has a deal to 2018(?).

Aye Klopp has stated numerous times he's not leaving Dortmund.

He's lining his already thick pockets further by coaching in China. He's long given up any ambitions on taking a job for any reason other than money.

Löw isn't really that great a coach. I'd expect him to go back to coaching clubs in Turkey if he ever returns to coaching clubs, not getting jobs at big clubs in the top leagues.

Klopp's Dortmund have plateaued and Bayern are such a force, financially and otherwise, that they're going to near-damn impossible to topple for the next few years. If United offered Dortmund compensation to talk to him, I'm sure he'd be interested. I imagine a lot of quality managers out there are looking at United's squad and thinking 'I could do great things with that team- and I'm getting £150m to rebuild'.

The only reason I can see Simeone leaving is that he's stated that he finds the two horse race in La Liga quite boring.
Obviously, he's now number 1, so his mind might've been changed.

I don't see Klopp leaving.

Dortmund have not plateaued

They can't offer the kind of wages they'd need to compete with Bayern over the long term. Their squad is still really young and plenty of their players have the potential to get a lot better, but most of them won't spend the prime of their career at Dortmund. Eventually most of them will follow in the footsteps of Götze and Lewandowski and go to clubs that can double, triple or even quadruple their wages.

They will ultimately face the same fate that Bayer Leverkusen, Werder Bremen and all the other German clubs that have briefly challenged Bayern's supremacy over the last 20 years have, even if their time in the sun will have lasted a lot longer than those who came before.

Well put it this way, there's not much scope for him to do worse.

--

Regardless of whether Klopp is available we should drive a dump truck of money through his front door, promise him time to build a football club how he want it and the chance to build a team that won't be cherry picked by Bayern every season.

He'll probably still say no, but you've got to be in it to win it.

He'd do the same as Moyes but be a smug arrogant bastard about it and blame everyone but himself.

Some arrogance wouldn't go amiss tbf, you can't help but think Moyes dourness rubs off on the players.

And Moyes hasn't exactly been short of excues.
