That's what made this attack different. Most of the time if there's a stabbing in a fight between Ultra groups or foreign fans it's in the ass or thighs which is sore but hardly lethal, which is the whole point. This time there was that poor guy in VP's photo who was probably smashed over the head with an iron bar and the other guy that was repeatedly stabbed in the neck.

Wonder if the ITV would have said all that nice stuff if it was a foreign manager holding the ball instead of Rodgers

3-0 up at half time. How on earth did Spurs manage to only draw with this mob?

Think about it: Some foreign team 1-0 up against some English team with 10 team, last minutes of the game and their manager grabs onto the ball. Doubt the commentators would have been so quick to say he was 'entitled' to hold on to it and 'fair play to him'

Also, your lot couldn't fly home last night due to 'technical problems':

Free kick actually, also doesn't mean he can stop the opposition wanting to get the free kick taken quicker

No it was a throw in that was given our way (even though it never actually went out)

Really? The linesman was shaking his flag, and even then the ball was attached to Sterling's (I think) foot, as it went 'out'.

It didn't go out and had touched Sterling last, but yeah, they gave us a throw.

The linesman must have thought it'd gone out before Sterling touched it.

But doesn't shaking the flag usually indicate a free kick?

Nah, it was before that, he waved it and pointed in Liverpool's favour.

Anyway, what does it fucking matter

Ah fair enough. It seems pretty random here, mind.

Chelsea have Sparta Prague, and Spurs will play Lyon.

I think we have the easiest of all the English team's draws, which naturally means we'll be the first out.

I'd say it depends on how important Pardew sees the competition, as in what team you play in the first leg and how that transpires.

Metalist are a pretty good side, Chelsea have the easiest draw by far.
