When Diaby comes back - and he will - we'll win the league. Just sit back and relax, and have a little patience.

Diaby's being coming back for the past 5 seasons now.

I'm not surprised if Wenger does take Nasri back, but only on a cut-priced deal.

Heck, I'd take him.

De Gea's really not a weakness for us, in fact, our 'solid spine' that you speak of is more of a problem as it consists of an awful midfield, a good defence that's never fit and a quality strike force.

That's been the main reason we've struggled this season.

It'd never happen. He's on ridiculous wages and we'd never never pay what he'd want, even if he took a pay cut. Also, the fans hate him, and we've got Cazorla/ Wilshere/ Rosicky as creative midfielders. If we're going to spend money there's plenty of other positions that take priority ahead of an attacking midfielder.

Apparently, those rumors today about Nani could be true. He was pictured in London Colney about 2 hours before the kick off of the derby.

I can't see what else there is in Colney apart from Arsenal's training ground, but I also can't see you paying more than we are willing to to him.

Nani story is bullshit. Some random Twitter user took the pic and tweeted it with no evidence that it's in LC, could be a picture of Nani from anywhere in the UK. Also, there is absolutely no way in hell we are buying Nani. Ignoring the fact that we are not going to spend £20m at all on a player, let alone him, his wage demands are huge and he would be the highest paid player at the club. Not happening.

The board are not going to refuse to offer Walcott an extra £15k a week yet spend x amount of Nani and pay him way more than what Walcott wants.

You wont see Arsenal training there, but you will see Watford

Nani was at our old training ground which is now used by Watford for some 'programme' that Stevenage FC were running. Good to see but he's still a cunt obviously.

Our new training ground is just next door though.

Always hated him since he started giving it the barry mcguigan when united were smashing us a few seasons ago. He is good though, I would just prefer we used anything that was going to go towards that to pay Walcott more.

Yes, but saying that we are desperate for trophies is of course true, im pretty sure every side in the country are desperate to win some too.

I'll also add that our next game isn't until next Monday, so or though the side is stronger than i expected, its not that much of a surprise.

I don't like the assumption that the League Cup is inferior. It is not as prestigious as the FA Cup but it is still a cup. On top of that it is far more entertaining than the FA Cup has been, at least in the last five years.

Bradford's two strikers have dominated Vermaelen and Mertesacker, but we do look like we could score at any time too. Been an entertaining half and not too worried yet, though that will change if we don't get a goal within the first 20 mins of the second half.

I didn't say De Gea specifically, but the position. Are there any goalkeepers so willingly dropped and swapped other than De Gea and Lindegaard? Neither are "United standard". The United sides against City, Chelsea and Arsenal have been the same this season, all with success. I'd count that as a spine...or at least a reliable starting line-up.

I do agree that the main area to strengthen would be the central midfield, but United definately don't get over-run Arsenal style.

...

Glad to see Wenger sticking with Gervinho in a striker's role and sticking Podolski on the wing. Fool him once...and so on.

You do have a history of unstable goalkeepers.

Indeed, and Ferguson is royally stuffing this one up as well because after finding a very, very good goalkeeper he's rotating him with a very, very average one.

But yeah, De Gea is fantastic.
