I'm glad UEFA are such a trustworthy and reliable governing body or I'd be worried that this was a fix of some sort.

On a more serious note, not only is this a tough group it's also a really boring group. Bayern and CSKA again.

That's what you get when the distance between Europe's top clubs and the smaller ones keep getting bigger and bigger for every year.

That, plus the fact that the Champions League no longer only consist of league winners but rather runners up etc.

Oh shit, just realised Gala actually qualified last season.

But the draw is so shit these days. For one how long they drag it out for. Secondly, why are clubs from the same country not allowed in the same group? I know this has been done for ages, but wondering what the reason behind this is. The TV scheduling rule thingy saved us as well, City and Chelsea being in the second half meant we missed out PSG and Barca.

As tough as that group is City are in a far better position to tackle that type of group now.

Just watched the Napoli - Bilbao highlights, the 3 goals conceded by Napoli were laughably bad.

Don't recall this displeasure when Chelsea were getting Barcalona and Liverpool every fucking year in either the groups or knockout rounds.

Groups mean little though, they usually always favour the top clubs and usually only consist of two real favourites. Every now and then you'll get a possible third side who can challenge too.

Ain't complaining though.

We got piss easy groups until the last few seasons.

Bellerin holds the club record for fastest over 40m I think. He started off as a winger so he's always gonna be great going forward we just need Arteta/Wilshere/Ramsey to cover the right hand side more than usual.

Will probably watch the Liverpool game tonight (until they go 2-0 up or something and it's no longer a contest). It is good to have them back in the CL.

I'll either watch the Liverpool or Arsenal game tonight, probably be the former as it should be a goal fest.
