Depends on your squad/what you're aiming to do.

If you're starting on the January Update then I'd suggest you keep it tight and go for a 4-1DM-4-1 on counter to really be compact against teams and hit them on the break. Fast wingers will be essential for it

442 always works. keep it simple. have a target man and a poacher, and fast full backs and wingers. in midfield have a BBM or a BWM coupled with a AMC. the DCs need to be top notch.
