I bought a new PC a year ago with pretty good spec, it wasn't the cheapest machine ever, setting me back £650.

My graphics card is an ASUS Radeon HDMI 5450 Silent 1GB DDR3
I have 8 GB RAM
Intel Core i3-540 Processor, 3.06Ghz, 4MB Cache

I only seem to getting a half-star rating in Preferences for Fm2013 for 3D Gameplay, does this seem right? I'm not great with graphics card knowledge on reading the manual for it it seems to indicate that it is good for 3d gaming.

When i set the 3d gamplay to "High" the match screen runs very slow and match does not run smoothly. Any ideas? Is my grahpics card rubbish and if so, what would you recommend for good in-match graphics?

cheers,

I used to have that card, got it with my DELL pc a couple of years ago. At the time the pc i 'built' was top notch, but i didn't pay much attention to the graphics card. HD and 1GB meant it must be good, doesn't it? Well no, it doesn't, that card is awful im afraid and you can pick it up for about £25 nowadays, thats how bad it is!

A few weeks ago i upgraded to a Radeon HD 7700, it set me back about £85 but was well worth it. The difference in performance is amazing.

The x400 series is always going to be poor. You can upgrade, but just for football manager it's hardly worth it.
