I'm sure most of you have just seen the penalty given but am I the only one that feels it wasn't actually a pen and there was the slightest of touches from the defender first?

Either way the French are pissing me off with their diving.

At least the 1-0 wasn't for very long, JEDINAK!!!!

I'm amazed no one has deliberately smashed Lucas Hernandez just to actually give him a reason to go to ground. Absolutely pathetic cheating from him all game and the ref/assistant have fallen for it every time.

Just shows even with VAR, decisions will still be incorrect. At least the discussion point is still there, but sad that an injustice can still be made.

I think we should probably just have a general World Cup thread.

On this game, France did get away with a pretty half-arsed performance. Something Argentina couldn't. Although quite impressive Germany seemed to put in more effort than both of them, and still lost, but that owed as much to a very impressive Mexican defence.
