Anyone who has pre-purchased the game from a SEGA approved retailer can log into Steam and launch the game. For those that haven’t it’s not too late to get access to the pre-release Beta either; as anyone who pre-purchases FM20 on PC and Mac between now and the game’s release on Tuesday, November 19th (from a participating digital retailer) will see the Beta immediately added to their Steam library.
As always with Football Manager, you’ll find yourself fighting battles against blood-sucking money men, Frankenstein’s Monster centre-halves and strikers desperate to drive a stake into your team’s heart. Pit yourself against the horrors of a rainy Tuesday night against Stoke but remember, with failure you may find yourself joining a graveyard of other discarded managers.
As this is still a Pre-Release Beta you may find there are still a few gremlins which we’re still working on to address for full release. If you encounter any issues within the game, please do take the time to raise them via our Pre-Release Beta Bugs Forum. You can find a handy ‘Report Bug’ button on the in-game sidebar which links to the same forum.
We also have an Official Feedback Thread which we’d very much like as many people as possible to contribute to. All we ask in doing so is that users keep feedback constructive in order to help us make this version of Football Manager the most polished, realistic and enjoyable we’ve ever released.
On behalf of everyone at Sports Interactive we hope you enjoy this latest incarnation into the award-winning Football Manager series.
*The pre-release Beta is available from SEGA approved digital retailers only; please check here for an exhaustive list of digital retailers and more details as to what constitutes a SEGA approved retailer.

Have you purchased the game? You only get to play the beta if you have pre ordered fm20.

Where from.

Did you receive an email with the game key?
You're better off contacting Steam themselves though.

Anyhow, I figured out the issue. FM20 is 64 bit only and OS was 32 bit. Upgraded it to 64 bit and it's resolved.
VP.
I've never purchased anything directly from Steam so didn't know. Glad its now working.

Assume I need the code for beta?

VP.
Yes you need Windows to be 64bit to play this year.
jkishthe1
Thanks, that explains a lot. Looks like an upgrade is in order
Probably overdue

Do you mean the physical CD? You can install it, but what you install now will only be the beta. It will be updated to the full game on Tuesday, with whatever changes are made from now till then
delichris
Ok thanks. And when i start a game it will automatically play in the full game?
mons
The only difference between the beta and the full game is that the full game may have some bug fixes and/or data updates not in place when you started your career.
Bill10
So no steam code and no access to the game.
Can you help please ?
