Gives Russian clubs something to do in midweek with entry in the preliminary round of the AFC Champions League for the cup winner and top two teams in the league. Asian coefficients appear to be working fine around this, I've just shunted them into the tournament and made adjustments accordingly.
If teams from the Ural federal district and eastward qualify, they'll take part in the East qualifying instead of West.
Now includes the ASEAN Club Cup that was planned for 2023 but cancelled IRL.
