Awesome. It'll fun be to watch United get demolished but also it'd be nice to be 100% sure they're not going to go on and win the thing meaning whoever finishes fourth misses out on Champions League football.

PSG vs. Chelsea will be a great watch. Hope Ibra tears them a new one.

Genuinely could see us concede 10+ goals over the two ties

aaaah i knew it. Poor Moyes hah. At least I can enjoy the game without stressing about the result. Anything is a bonus at this point.

PSG - Chelsea could be good aye, but at the same time its Mourinho's Chelsea, so chances are it will be boring as hell.

Buttner vs Robben, bring it on!

We're underdogs, no one is expecting us to go through, so we can play knowing that. It won't help much, but still!

Defeat can't be as painful as it was in 2010.

I know what you mean in the sense that there's no expectations really this time, but if you get really comfortably beat in both legs then it'd just show how far behind you've fallen and how long it'll take to get to that level again. You didn't have that to worry about in 2010!

I have to say, if David Moyes manages to outwit Guardiola over two legs, I'll leave the 'Moyes Out' camp.

Wow RIP United.

Kind of wish Fergie was still in charge just to see his team get raped

1). Pretty poor choice of words.
2). Fergie's team wouldn't look anything like this.

Not sure about 'how long it will take' a decent manager and I reckon we could not get humiliated as is. A decent manager and a midfield and I'm not sure we would be that far off the best.

Could do with a few defenders as well surely? Going to need to spend alot in the summer

My views are in the United thread on this but, you're probably right in terms of being amongst the best clubs in Europe though.

Saying that, I think defending is one of the few arts in the game that can really be drilled into otherwise fairy average players. The improvement Koscielny has undergone since that pretty dire first seasons has been remarkable, I doubt many would have had him pegged as becoming the best centre back in the league but he probably has been this season.

I don't think Man Utd will get humiliated tbf.

I agree with pretty much everything Ninja has said in this thread.

Kind of pleased with getting PSG. They're a good side and have some quality going forward, however are still somewhat fragile down back. Should make for a tougher tie than what Galatasaray provided.

Also nice to see United get Bayern.

The first leg is absolutely crucial.

We can't afford to be chasing the game in Munich.

Ah yeah, just read he's doubtful with a hamstring injury.

I guess he'd go with Rafael at LB then.

Buttner does start after all that, Rafa doesnt.

United: De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Büttner; Valencia, Carrick, Fellaini, Giggs, Rooney; Welbeck.
Subs: Lindegaard, Hernandez, Nani, Young, Fletcher, Januzaj, Kagawa.

Bayern: Neuer; Rafinha, Martinez, Boateng, Alaba; Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Kroos; Robben, Müller, Ribéry.
Subs: Starke, van Buyten, Mandzukić, Shaqiri, Pizarro, Götze, Hojbjerg.

at least Welbeck is playing. Fancied him for tonight. Won't help at all though.

even if we had Rafael, Evra, Mata and RVP we'd still get mauled. That being said im still very excited to watch it

I'll be happy if we're still in it around the hour mark. Then chuck on Kagawa and Hernandez and hope for the best

Giggs is going to be torn to shreds if Bayern are even remotely up for it.

Welbeck was unlucky there.
