I had a quick look and couldn't see anybody else raising this, so apologies if I'd missed it.

 

Just in the summer 2026 transfer window, and suddenly I can only offer severely limited wages, despite having plenty of wage and salary room, plus money in the bank. I'm in Spain, so I thought at first it might be related to the salary cap, but I checked and have plenty of room there too. I even added a new manager to another club in another league to see if it was just me, but they had the same problem.

 

I managed to sign a couple of players during the second half of the season to join in the summer, and that was no problem. I think it might have started on July 1, because the first time I noticed was when I tried to offer a contract to a Brazilian whose contract was coming to an end in 6 months. I can't go above £5.25K/ week.

 

It's also not to do with squad status, as I tried a few other offering different status and it was still the same limit.

 

Anybody else encountered this, and more to the point, does anybody have a fix!? If it turns out to just be this window, I think I can live with it, but any further and that'll end my game as I can't offer my current players the right wages either.
