Got to admit that we've definitely done better than I had expected Sniper, haha I don't expect to win the league this season as it'll be massively unrealistic in my opinion but you never know with me at the helm.
Possibility Dan but their is still some tough games that need to be played this season.
On the back of another excellent month in the ABSA Premiership we entered the second month of twenty fifteen looking to continue our fine form but I didn't expect it to last as we would complete the month with a daunting trip to Kaizer Chiefs who are the current league leaders.
The first fixture of the month wasn't until the eighteenth when we welcomed Tuks and defeated them three two in an entertaining affair as we broke the deadlock on forty-two minutes through Cele before Mokgama doubled the lead on the hour mark, Nyondo pulled a goal back a minute later and then Kaimbi made it three one with fifteen minutes to go but Tuks scored the final goal when Makgothi struck in stoppage time.
We then hosted Black Aces and won an eight goal thriller five three but it should have been more convincing as we were the better side. An own goal from Ngobeni gave us the lead and then Mokoena made it two on twenty-five minutes, the visitors made it two one at half time through Ngebo but goals from Kaimbi and Nilsen made the score four one - a Paulse double pulled it back to four three before Cele popped up with goal five to finish the scoring.
We would conclude the month with a daunting trip to Kaizer Chiefs who eased to a three nil victory and it could have been more - Majoro struck twice including a spot kick to make it two nil before Letsholonyane added a third on fifty-seven minutes to finish the scoring.
That defeat away to Kaizer Chiefs hasn't seen us suffer a massive setback as we're now sitting in fifth place on thirty eight points as we now sit twenty three points above the relegation play-off spot with twenty seven points still to play for so we're almost safe.

We have suffered a setback in our previous game, going down three nil away to leaders Kaizer Chiefs and as we head into the business end of the season it's important we bounce back but it's going to be a tricky month.
Swallows away kick started the month and a poor performance saw us head home with a two nil defeat as Amidu struck twice, the Zimbabwean had scored after thirty and eighty three minutes.
Five days later and we hosted Orlando Pirates at Makhulong Stadium and we could only muster a scoreless draw, we had two goals chalked off but the visitors were the better side and still probably deserved to win.
Our failure to find the net stretched to four games following a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to Free State Stars, thought we played decently well but a single goal from Bester on forty-three minutes separated the sides.
The month would come to an end with a tough trip to Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup first round and it only took nine minutes to end our scoring barren when Bell scored and then winger Cele scored a second goal a minute before half time.
Our dismal form in the league is seeing us slip down the table as we now sit on seventh place but we have defeated the odds and survived this season as the team currently second bottom can only finish on thirty three points.

It's been four league games without a win or a goal as we entered the penultimate month of the season with three league fixtures and what turned out to be two Nedbank Cup games as we advanced to the semi finals.
Our poor league form continued at the beginning of the month as we slipped to a three one defeat away to Amazulu as we entered our three hundred and eighty seven minutes without a Premiership goal when Kaimbi slotted home a twenty-seventh minute penalty.
Three days later we welcomed struggling Golden Arrows and returned to winning ways after a two one victory as Kaimbi scored on twenty-six minutes and then Mokoena struck in the fifty-ninth minute to win us the game.
We then headed to league champions Sundowns and despite having our goalkeeper sent off for a deliberate handball we still managed to pick up three points against the odds when Kaimbi scored a controversial penalty in first half stoppage time and somehow we held on after a second half onslaught.
Our next game was a Nedbank Cup second round home tie against SuperSport United and a good performance saw us run out comfortable three nil winners as Mokoena opened the scoring after only fifteen seconds and then Mbongo doubled the lead on thirty-nine minutes before Cele completed the scoring a minute later.
The month ended with how the month began and a trip to Amazulu but this time we were victorious thanks to an early Kaimbi goal.
It's looking likely that we'll be securing a top half finish in my first Premiership season but I'd like one more win just to confirm that. It's been a tremendous season regardless of what happens now.
Yet again our youth intake is looking quite good and they've all been signed up to youth contracts as most of them could play a big part in the future if they reach their potential. Sibeko could be a first team player now if it wasn't for his poor pace but I'm sure it'll rise with training.

It's been an unbelievable season in the Premiership for my Jomo Cosmos side as we've guaranteed a top half finish against all the odds - not bad for a team who were predicted to finish rock bottom is it? The league season would conclude with a home game against Platinum Stars before two away games against Ajax CT and Martizburg along with a Nedbank Cup semi against Swallows.
We welcomed relegation threatened Platinum Stars for our final home game of the season and we defeated them three one as Cele struck twice after seventeen and eighty-nine minutes while Makhanya struck in between with a fifty-ninth minute header.
A fortnight later and we headed to Ajax CT and were on the losing end of a seven goal thriller, Ajax winning four three as Manyama scored all four for the hosts. Mokoena, Nilsen and Motau struck for us but we suffered defeat in an entertaining contest but truth be told we had nothing to play for as we're safe.
Three days later we headed to a netural venue to face Swallows in the Nedbank semi final and an ninety-first minute extra time goal from substitute Zulu was enough to send us to the final and we'll face NFD side African Warriors in the final as this was a stunning victory.
Our league season was completed with a disappointing 1-0 defeat away to Martizburg United, we were poor but feel we had one eye on the cup final.
What a season! I have guided my Jomo Cosmos side, predicted to finish sixteenth and to be relegated to a sixth place finish and I'm so damn proud as we only managed to lose eight league games throughout the campaign but I expect next season to be a difficult as teams will know my "style". Sundowns won the league for the second consecutive season while Black Aces were relegated to the NFD and Golden Arrows had to settle for a relegation play-off.
Kaizer Chiefs had to settle for a disappointing third place finish and finishing seven points behind the champions.

On a dry and warmish day thirteen thousand nine hundred and twenty seven spectators ascended on to FND Stadium in Soweto, the home of Kaizer Chiefs for the Nedbank Cup final between Premiership over achievers Jomo Cosmos and NFD side African Warriors who finished the league season in seventh place. Who will be victorious in the cup final?
Cup winners! We have defeated African Warriors 3-1 to lift this seasons Nedbank Cup and we fully deserved the victory as first half goals from Dlamini and Badenhorst had us two goals up at half time before Makhanya added a third early in the second half but then we switched off and let the Warriors back in with a shout when Mseluku scored on seventy-one minutes but it was only a consolation.
As you can see, Dlamini, on what could have been his last appearance for Jomo, won the Player of the Match award as we were victorious in front of the near fourteen thousand strong crowd. We had more possession and more chances than our lower league opposition as you can see from the match report.
Following our Nedbank success we have qualified for the twenty sixteen CAF Confederation Cup. I've been labelled as a "mastermind" behind my sides qualification to the competition and apparently my name is on "everybody's lips". It's a shame we won't go far in the Confederation Cup next season but I'm going to make sure we enjoy every minute of it.

Thanks Sean. I suppose it depends on what happens during the summer, if a "bigger" team lose their manager then I may apply otherwise I'm happy enough to remain at the club for at least another season and hope we do just as good. Kaizer Chiefs job was insecure but nothing more than that.
Appriciate the comment Sniper, I'm pleased that we won the cup as it should help bring in much needed monies.
Last season was an excellent season for all assosicated with Jomo Cosmos as not only did we secure a sixth place finish in the Premiership against all the odds we also managed to win the Nedbank Cup, defeating African Warriors 3-1 in the final. Will the pressure be on this season or will the board be more relaxed?
Despite doing really well last season the board haven't gone overboard with the expectations for this season much to my delight. The minimum expectation is that we be competitive in the ABSA Premiership as the media have predicted us to come thirteenth.
But I think we can do just as well as last season and chose to select a "top half finish" for the upcoming season and that'll see me receive a transfer budget of sixty five thousand pound but that'll be pumped into the wage budget as that's not the greatest around but I feel we don't need to bring in many new faces.
We have arranged what, on paper, looks a straight forward pre-season program as all eight games will be played away from home.
Four games have been arranged to go with the four previously done so, I have added games away to Benoni Premier United, Baltic Rangers, Atlie and Alexandra along with the games already scheduled against Witbank Spurs, Sivutsa Stars, Tigers and Stars of Africa. Could be a successful pre-season preparations.

It was that time of the season again were I needed to attempt to make the squad stronger as I looked to better or equal last seasons sixth place finish while we played eight pre season fixtures.
Just five players joined the club this summer as four had previously signed pre-contracts. Attacking midfielder Ntamo arrived from Black Leopards, central defender Tshwarelo came from Swallows, right back Marakane came from Nedbank runners-up African Warriors while left back Loureiro left Black Aces. Our final signing of the summer saw another attacking midfielder McKenzie joined on a free.
Eight players meanwhile departed the club as Rambo, Kwenene, Dlamini, White and Mgwevu all departed the club when their contracts had expired while Zulu and Ntloana had their contracts terminated as they weren't going to be guaranteed first team football and young centre back Mahlangu went to Golden Arrows on loan.
Bar the shock and disappointing draw against Stars of Africa we still had an unbeaten pre season.
Our program started with a 3-1 win over Benoni Premier United before we thumped Baltic Rangers 7-3 and then Atlie 5-4. Our best result came with a 4-1 away win over Witbank Spurs before hammering Tigers 6-1 and then we recorded a 5-0 win away to Sivutsa to finish July. Our penultimate game was the disappointing draw against Stars of Africa before we ended our pre season program with a 5-3 away win against Alexandra.

With a quality pre season behind us that saw us fail to win just the once we kicked off the competitive season with confidence as things would kick off with an MTN-8 quarter final against Kaizer Chiefs before we would play two league games too.
Our competitive season started with a MTN 8 quarter final against Kaizer Chiefs and we caused an upset by defeating them two one. Winger Cele opened the scoring on seven minute before striker Bell doubled the lead on thirty-six minutes, we have a nervous final half an hour as Baloyi made it two one but we held on to progress.
We kicked off the league season with a home game against Platinum Stars and we defeated them four one - Bell opened the scoring on twenty-four minutes before Kaimbi doubled the lead thirteen minutes later before the visitors scored two minutes before half time but Cele made it three one before Platinum Stars had their keeper sent off and was given a straight red card, Mokgama headed home a fourth in stoppage time.
Our second and final league game was away to Tuks and we eased to a three nil victory as Motau gave us a half time lead when he struck on twenty-four minutes, attacking midfielder Mokoena scored twice in the second half to complete the easy victory.
SuperSport United awaited in the MTN 8 semi final and the first leg went disastrously wrong as we were on the wrong end of a five nil hiding as Shongwe, Doutie and Swartz had us 3-0 down within the opening twenty-five minutes before Chabangu's second half double completed the rout and I slammed every single player, I was outraged.
We did restore some parity in the second leg, drawing nil each but the damage was already done.
It's been a mixed start to the season. We have a one hundred percent record in the league to date (2 games, 2 wins) but we had a horrible semi final defeat at the hands of SuperSport United and although we restored parity by drawing the away leg our confidence has got to be shot. Swallows have had a horrible start to the season as they're bottom and pointless after four games.

I'm just pleased that the board aren't going overboard this season with their expectations Dyrim, we played decently against Kaizer Chiefs but then rubbish against SuperSport.
It's been a mixed start to the 2015/16 season for my Jomo Cosmos side, we have won our opening two league games while we got tanked in the MTN 8 semi final, losing 5-0 on aggregate to SuperSport United. Will we be able to get some revenge as we travel to SuperSport this month?
A home clash with Orlando Pirates started the month as we slipped to our first league defeat of the season, going down four two as Cele and Badenhorst scored our goals but it wasn't enough to even salvage a draw against a good Pirates side.
Fifteen days later we welcomed Amazulu for our second straight home game and defeated them two one as Motau broke the deadlock on twenty-seven minutes for a deserved opener and then the lead was doubled five minutes into the second half when Bell struck and that completed the scoring.
We then headed to SuperSport United and suffered a devestating and confidence crashing six nil defeat. We didn't even play that bad, SuperSport were just clinical.
Four days later we travelled to Maritzburg and picked up a two one victory as central midfielder Badenhorst scored on fifteen minutes and then attacking midfielder Ntamo scored our second and final goal on sixty-five minutes.
The month ended with a home encounter against Wits and we defeated them two one with Badenhorst once again giving us the lead on twenty minutes before winger Kaimbi scored what turned out to be the winning goal on fifty-two minutes.
It's still been a solid start to the season despite those defeats to Orlando Pirates and SuperSport as we currently sit in fourth place with five wins from our opening seven games. Swallows still haven't picked up a league point this season and are the only Premiership team without a win.

Following a mixed September that saw us lose two (including a 6-0 hiding) of our five league games, winning the other three we headed into a short October that only saw two games to be played - one was a Premiership game away to Chippa while we headed to Tuks in the Telkom.
Our one and only league game this month saw us run out deserved four nil winners away to Chippa United. Right winger Kaimbi opened the scoring on seventeen minutes and that lead was doubled six minutes later when Makhanya headed home, left winger Cele added a third goal on sixty-eight minutes before Kaimbi's second and our fourth arrived fifteen minutes from time.
Four days later and we defeated Tuks five three in the Telkom Knockout, both wingers Kaimbi and Cele both hit doubles while Bell was also on target. We had only scored the one goal in the first half but it was an excellent second half display. Kaizer Chiefs await in the next round.
It seems a little pointless posting up this league table as we only played the one league game this month, winning four nil as we're currently sitting in fourth place and on eighteen points. Swallows finally picked up their first win of the new season but remain bottom.
Shedender
October was a short but unbeaten month as we managed to pick up two victories from our two games as we also progressed in the Telkom Knockout but the penultimate month of twenty fifteen would prove to be a difficult one as we faced trips to both Black Leopards and Kaizer Chiefs.
We headed to Polokwane at the start of the month to face Black Leopards and had to come from 3-0 down to salvage a well deserved point as a Segalo treble had given the home side a three goal lead inside the opening fifty-six minutes and I thought we were on for another hiding but winger Cele pulled a goal back on sixty-eight minutes and I thought it was nothing but a consolation goal. I proved to be incorrect because central defender Bereng headed home a second goal before Bell equalised to rescue an unlikely point in the final minute.
Our next outing was the Telkom Knockout quarter final at home to Kaizer Chiefs as the away side won three two after extra time in a pulsating encounter. Grobler netted first to give the visitors the lead on twelve minutes but two second half goals from Bell on sixty-one and Cele on seventy-seven turned the game around and we looked good for an "upset" before Grobler's second forced extra time, Manyoni scored what turned out to be the winner two minutes into extra time.
Three days later the side headed to face Kaizer Chiefs in the league and lost one nil as Zwane scored on thirty-two minutes.
And the month concluded with a well deserved home victory over bottom of the table Swallows as we won two one in which Cele gave us a twenty-ninth minute lead but the basement club levelled on thirty-five minutes before Ntamo scored the winning goal three minutes into the second half.
We are currently in fifth place and so far exceeding expectations once again heading into the final month of twenty fifteen. Just two league games remain this calendar year as we will host Ajax CT before travelling to Bloem Celtic.

Appreciate the comment SamLea, can't believe we're doing reasonably well this season as I thought he would have suffered "second season syndrome", especially with a poor transfer budget. I'd love to have a run in the Nedbank Cup but the other cup we're in is just to "enjoy".
Thanks for the comment Dan, I'm surprised we're still going strong but sure, SuperSport will tank me again this season.
With the side finished the last month with a two one victory over Swallows we entered the final month of twenty fifteen with just two tough league games. We would host Ajax CT before travelling to Bloem Celtic as we look to continue our fantastic season.
We welcomed Ajax CT to the Makhulong Stadium and we picked up an excellent three two victory despite being second best, goals from McKenzie on his début and Kaimbi had us two nil up but we couldn't hold on as Gamildien and van de Laak scored to peg us back to two all, Makhanya headed home what turned out to be the winner with twenty minutes left.
Our second and only game was away to Bloem Celtic and a single penalty with three minutes to go at Free State Stadium saw us pick up an unlikely 1-0 victory as substitute Zulu scored on eighty-seven minutes.
We will head into the New Year in fourth place as we've now won three games on the bounce, we are only four points behind leaders Orlando Pirates but everyone knows that us winning the title is impossible this season.
