Beyond 2 Souls is out on 13th Oct. Cannot wait, it's from the makers of Heavy Rain and that is my favourite ever PS3 game without a doubt.

Have you not played The Last of Us?

GTA V and Total War: Rome II being released in the same month has put me in a bit of trouble, really want both but will probably only afford one of them.

I hate being skint.

Oh yeah. I got Skyrim. I'm playing a frost elf because I have a PC and I can.
Needs a better autosave feature or it should keep points you can teleport to after you die or something. Twice now I've been playing it, been enjoying myself and "immersed" or whatever the fuck and not thought to save so I die and lose 15 minutes of running. Then quit and do something else.

You can set it to austosave every few minutes, whenever you press start and whenever you fast travel.

If you really wanted to work I'm sure you could find something. It just depends on how much you want to.

Not at all, but it's a million times better.
I guess I should mention that I didn't really like Heavy Rain.

Sure, there's always jobs about for those who are truly desperate for money.

I have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in and food on my table, I'm not going to sell my arse on the streets just so I can buy a video game.

I work minimum wage doing something which, while isn't awful, it's not particularly fun because I know if I apply myself, I could be on 3, 4, 5 times as much money doing something I really like. You have a very naive view of the world.

My problem wasn't so much with the gameplay, although it wasn't always the most exciting.
And yeah, there were a lot of interesting ideas in there, like how if a character dies, he's dead for good. That's an interesting way to up the stakes, and promote storytelling in videogames. My problem was how fucking awful the story was. Absolutely dreadful writing. Bad voice acting. etc. etc.

Wasted opportunity. And Beyond Two Souls looks shit as well.

I hate David Cage, he thinks he's a film director, not a game designer.

i did play Fahrenheit, which I thought started out pretty well and then turned into nonsense.
It got a pass from me at the time, cus it was a new experience.

I really enjoyed it, apart from the flashbacks, and the monsters, and the occult. The multiple perspectives, cops trying to chase suspect etc idea, was all very unique. I've always wanted to go back and find out if you don't rescue the girl from drowning how the black police guy is able to catch the main guy.

I'm playing at the minute as Britannia. Own France, Spain, Northern Italy and the Germania territories. But completely broke. Don't fancy invading Italy or Greece and getting in a massive conflict with the Bruttii right now.

The Uncharted trilogy, when you're already on a Naughty Dog thing. Infamous 1 and 2 if you wanna try some open world superhero stuff.

I'm playing as the Scipii, right now I control the western half of North Africa, Sicily, the Iberian peninsula and Brittany. Building a large army to attack Egypt but I'm slightly worried about the Roman civil war potentially breaking out while I have all my armies out in the desert on the far side of the map.

I'm also having an issue as a few of my cities have grown to the point that they are close to unmanageable.
