I don't like to say it out loud but the way we've been playing and with the fixtures we've got in the run in I'm nervous.

Fuckinghell that was terrible, took far too long to make changes. 6 minutes left, lets take off Rooney (who was fucking terrible and looked knackered from the 55th minute) and bring on Hernandez. Should've been done far far earlier than that, or at least for Kagawa.

He has a natural talent for it. That's only his second best, though.

"We played well, no question about that, we played some good football," Sir Alex told MUTV. "It’s a shame to have lost [after 18 league games unbeaten], particularly in a local derby game because you always want to win those.

"We’ve got seven games to go and it’s a healthy lead. But we’re not taking anything for granted.

"We just have to kick on. The most important thing is to try and win our next game. We’ve got Stoke City on Sunday and it’s a game we want to win and the performance tonight is a good indication."

He admitted United left some room for improvement in the first half against City, during which the Blues enjoyed more possession "without really killing us."

"I actually thought we controlled the game in the second half," Sir Alex added. "A lot of these big games need a goal to open up and it opened up well in the second half, when I thought we played really well.

I'm genuinely speechless.

We can't let a decision from a terrible referee weeks ago kill our season.

Good play from Aguero, even if United's defending was awful.

Don't know if it has been pointed out yet but QPR are now further away from safety then before Redknapp took over. Not to mention the millions added to the wage bill.

Still think he is on track for manager of year Shola?

No, I said if he kept them up he would have done a terrific job and should be in contention, but it looks beyond them at this stage. - They apparently need 12/18 points at the very least to give them any chance of staying up.

That said when he took over 19 games ago, QPR had 4 points and they now have 24 points, so theoretically if he had a full season he would be set to gain 40 points. And probably keep QPR up. Compared to the previous management which was set to achieve 13 points.

In that time frame QPR have gained 20 points, where as Reading have gained 14, Aston Villa 22, Southampton 26, Wigan 17, Newcastle 22, Norwich 20, Stoke 18, Fulham 23, Swansea 24, West Ham 18, West Brom 18.

Obviously this sort of stat can be massively misleading due to how the fixtures fall for every team. But what can also be misleading is that QPR are further away from safety than when Redknapp took over. As Aston Villa and Southampton the early season strugglers have both started winning, pulling them clear of the relegation struggle to be replaced by teams in freefall who had seemingly decent points tallies but no form. Theoretically if Redknapp keeps QPR at the same rate they are going they will get a lot closer to Sunderland and Stoke. - Unless they get out of freefall.

Regarding the players brought in, Remy looks a good player, QPR should be able to sell both him and Samba for decent money if they go down. And I can't see Jenas, Townsend, Suk or Ben Haim being particulary expensive. Jenas maybe? But Aston Villa and Nottm Forest were able to afford him.

Anyway after Samba's horrorshow against Fulham, a lot of criticism seemed to be levelled at Redknapp for being poor in the transfer market and bringing in a useless player on big money. Which is quite impressive how Samba went from universally popular to a joke after signing for Redknapp.

Will they actually be able to review decisions with it from next year or will they just have the cameras in place for testing?

They don't need to 'review' anything:

Its football system notifies the referee if the ball has crossed the goal line via a vibration and optical signal sent to the officials' watches within one second.
