One of the most blatant fouls I've ever seen.
Carroll.
Eric Portapotty
One wonders what could have been if Gervais had taken any of his chances though...

Koscielny's goal was fb, Arsenal deserved something from that game, pleased they did.

City are worse at defending from corners than us, four players go to Mertesacker and leave everyone else free.
Also love how Koscielny headbutts Mertesacker in the bollocks

They're both quality. I don't think Vermaelen's even guaranteed a starting spot after the way the pair of them performed today. I've always thought Koscielny and Vermaelen could become a world-class partnership but I've been pleasantly surprised with how good Mertesacker has looked this season.

So close to being missed.
Thought Koscielny and Mertesacker were outstanding today, so was Diaby again, always liked him. Not sure what's happened to City. They rampaged through games last season but already this season they seem to be struggling to make good chances. David Silva didn't help that cause today, he's one of the players that carves open defences often but today he gave the ball away at every opportunity almost, very poor.
QPR losing in two goals in a matter of minutes today. That reminds me of something...

And long may it continue.

Carroll.

1 game at most. The only difference is that Jonjo went over the ball and caught the player after travelling further.

Let it go.
Anyone can see what Evans did wasn't on par with what Shelvey did, no matter how many slow motion videos you pointlessly inspect.
Crane
Shelvey's tackle was worse, but if Evans had done that to a standing player it would have been a straight red without a shadow of a doubt.
Fantastic
Carroll.
How is what Evans did not on par? Just because he's not caught the player? So it's okay to jump in two footed off the ground if you don't catch the other player now is it?

Sums it up really.
Evans has got two feet but both of them are directed towards the ground and the ball. Shelvey's going in a lot more aggressively and higher, having a much higher chance of hurting him.
